Indian Army ARO Pithoragarh Recruitment
Candidates belonging to ARO Pithoragarh have to submit online application form for Agniveer (GD, Technical, Clerk/SKT, Tradesmen and Women Military Police) and Regular Cadre (Soldier Nursing Assistant, Sepoy Pharma, Havildar Education and JCO RT) from 13th February to 10th April 2026 (extended). Thereafter, candidates declared qualified and shortlisted in Phase-1 (CEE) can appear in Phase-2 (Recruitment Rally).

ARO Pithoragarh Agniveer Recruitment:
District wise recruitment rally dates for Agniveer GD, Clerk/SKT, Technical and Tradesmen categories to be conducted by ARO Pithoragarh are being updated below. As per the official notification, Bharti registration date for ARO Pithoragarh (under HQ RTG Zone Lucknow) has been confirmed and being updated below accordingly.
Online Registration – 13th February to 10th April 2026 (extended)

As per the Agnipath Scheme, initially candidates will be selected as Agniveer GD, Office Asst/SKT, Technical, Tradesman and Women MP in the Indian Army for the service of 04 Years. Later on completion of 04 years of service, based on organisational requirements and policies, 25% Agniveer will be selected in regular cadre of Indian Army as Soldier GD, Clerk/SKT, Technical, Tradesman and WMP (Women Military Police) etc.

Eligibility Criteria (Age and Qualification)
Age Limit (Agniveer Categories) – 17½ Years to 22 Years i.e. candidate must be born between 01 Jul 2005 to 01 Jul 2009 (both days inclusive). The minimum age will be considered as on 01 Jan 2027 and the maximum age will be considered as on 01 Jul 2027.
Educational Qualification:
Agniveer (General Duty) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) with 45% Marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, minimum of D Grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or equivalent of grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate in C2 Grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
Agniveer (Clerk/SKT) – 12th Pass/ 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% Marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Agniveer (Technical) – 12th Pass/ 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% Marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. ITI or Diploma holders will also be eligible for Agniveer (Technical) entry. OR
12th Pass/ 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State or Central Education Board (including NIOS) and ITI course of minimum 01 year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above. OR
10th Pass/ Matric with 50% Marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in English, Maths and Science with 02 years of Technical Training from ITI or 02/03 years Diploma from recognised educational institution including polytechnics.
Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass) – Class 10th simple pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% Marks in each subject.
Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass) – Class 8th simple pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% Marks in each subject.
Candidates who have appeared in Class 10th and 12th Board Exam and are awaiting declaration of results are also eligible to apply, provided they fulfil all other required eligibility criteria. However, such candidates will be selected only if they produce the original mark sheets during Phase II of the recruitment process.

Recruitment and Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of Phase-1 (Online CEE) and Phase-2 (Recruitment Rally). Online Registration, Required Documents and Notification
Eligible and interested candidates are required to register and submit online application form for the Indian Army ARO Pithoragarh Recruitment Rally on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in from 13th Feb to 10th Apr 2026 (extended). After the registration (candidates registered earlier are not required to register again) and submission of online application form, you will be issued Roll numbers according the category as applied for.
Thereafter, you may appear for Phase-1 (Online CEE). Date, time and venue for phase-1 will be informed through Admit Card. After qualifying phase-1, you will have to appear for Phase-2 (Recruitment rally) at Banbasa, Military Station (UK) on respective date (as given in your Admit Card only) with the following required documents. Admit Card for Phase-1 and Phase-2 (Bharti Rally) will be available online to download and print.

Required documents – You will have to carry the following required documents in original with 02 attested photocopies at the rally location:
1. Admit Card printed on good quality paper.
2. 20 passport size colour photographs in white background (not more than 03 months old).
3. Educational marks sheets and certificates (10th/ 12th/ Graduation etc).
4. Domicile certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar/ District Magistrate.
5. Caste certificate with photograph issued by the Tehsildar/ District Magistrate.
6. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/ SDM (if religion is not mentioned in caste certificate).
7. Police Character Certificate issued within last six months.
8. School Character Certificate issued by the Principal/ College Principal/ Headmaster of last studied School/ College.
9. Character Certificate with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last 06 months.
10. Unmarried Certificate for all candidates with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last 06 months.
11. Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office (if applicable).
12. NCC A/ B/ C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate (if any).
13. Sports Certificate (for Sportsmen).
14. Affidavit duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non-judicial Stamp Paper duly attested by Notary (as per given format).
15. PAN Card and Aadhar Card.
