For Typing Test, four candidates will be called for each vacant post from the merit list of the written exam, based on category and sub-category. Before the start of the typing test, candidates will be given a two-minute demo (trial) on the Commission’s software to familiarize themselves with the software.

The typing test will be conducted in Kruti Dev 010 font. The time allotted for the typing test will be 10 minutes. The software will automatically close after the set time (10 minutes). For the Hindi typing test, candidates must achieve a minimum qualifying typing speed of 4000 KDPH.

Candidates will be given 5 minutes to read the dictation and 35 minutes to transcribe the content on the computer at a speed of 12 words per minute.

If the number of mistakes exceeds 5 percent of the 400 dictated words (i.e., more than 20 words), the candidate will be disqualified from the shorthand test.

The software used for Hindi typing will use Kruti Dev 10 font, while the software used for English typing will use Times and Roman font.

Document Verification

This is an important part of the selection process after the written test/skill test. During this stage, all claims and documents related to reservation, educational qualification, preferential qualification and experience are verified. At the time of document verification, the educational and other essential qualifications of the candidate will be assessed strictly as per the provisions of the service rules.

The candidature of any candidate who does not possess the qualifications as per the rules will be cancelled.
