Women Military Police Recruitment WMP All Zones 2024-2025

Indian Army invites online applications for filling up the vacancies of Agniveer GD (Women) in Corp of Military Police (CMP). Eligible female candidates from ZRO Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Jalandhar, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chennai, Bangalore, Shillong, Pune, Danapur and IRO Delhi can apply online for the Women MP or WMP Bharti Vacancies through the website joinindianarmy.nic.in. Women Military Police Recruitment WMP/ CMP Agniveer GD 2024-2025 like eligibility, online registration, selection process, physical, CEE exam syllabus, rally date, documents, notification etc info is given below.

Women Military Police Agniveer GD Recruitment

As per the Agnipath Scheme, initially the female candidates will be selected as Agniveer (GD) in Corp of Military Police for the service of 04 Years. Later on completion of 04 years of service, based on organisational requirements and policies, 25% Agniveer (Women) will be selected in regular cadre of Indian Army as Soldier (GD) Women in Corp of Military Police.

Eligibility Criteria – Eligibility criteria as age limit and educational qualification for Women Military Police is as follows:

Age Limit – 17½ to 21 years as on 01 Oct 2024 i.e. candidate must be born between 01 Oct 2003 and 01 April 2007 (both dates inclusive). Upper Age limit is relaxable upto 30 years of age (as on the date of joining) in respect of widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness.

Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) with 45% marks in aggregate and minimum 33% marks in each subject. In grading system, minimum of D Grade (33-40% marks) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% marks and overall aggregate of C2 Grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% marks in aggregate.

Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements. Educational qualification for Indian Gorkhas is Class 10th simple pass.

WMP Selection Process, Physical and Exam Syllabus

Indian Army Women Military Police selection process consists of two phases as Phase-1 (Online CEE) and Phase-2 (Documentation, Physical fitness test, Physical measurement test, Adaptability test and Medical exam at recruitment rally venue).

After closing date of online application process, Phase-1 Admit Card will be issued to all candidates to appear for Written Exam (Online CEE) at Computer Based Test Centres. Thereafter, proportionate to the vacancies available candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-2 (Recruitment Rally) by applying a cut off in written exam result. In Phase-2, candidates will be screened through recruitment rally scheduled to be conducted under all the HQ RTG Zones (ZRO).

Women Military Police recruitment rally (phase-2) will be conducted by the respective HQ Recruiting Zone or ZRO Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Jalandhar, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chennai, Bangalore, Shillong, Pune, Danapur and IRO Delhi on the given date and time as mentioned in Admit Card. Candidates will be allotted rally venue based on their home districts.

Written Exam (Online CEE)

Firstly, Admit Card indicating exam date, time and venue will be issued for Phase-1 (Online CEE) to all eligible candidates through Join Indian Army website. Women Military Police online exam is scheduled to be conducted from 22nd April 2024. Candidates will have to arrive at the allotted exam centre on respective dates at least 30 Minutes before the reporting time with Aadhar Card and a colour printout of Admit Card.

Women Military Police exam comprises of objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based on General Knowledge, General Science, Maths (10th) and Logical Reasoning. The question paper will be of 01 Hour duration and will consist of total 50 Questions (02 Marks each).

Negative marking of 0.5 marks will be applicable for each wrong answer given by candidates in online exam. The marks obtained by the candidates in Online CEE will be normalised taking into account the variation in difficulty levels of question papers in different sessions.

Women Military Police Syllabus – The latest Agniveer Women MP (WMP) Exam Pattern and Syllabus as provided by the Indian Army is as follows:

General Knowledge (15 Questions): The test will include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography and who’s who. In addition Abbreviations, Sports, Awards and prizes, Terminology, Indian Armed Forces, Continents and Sub Continents, Inventions and Discoveries, the Constitution of Indian, International Organizations, Books and Authors, Knowledge of Important events that have happened in India and at world level in the recent years, Current important world events, Prominent personalities etc.

General Science (15 Questions): Question of General Science will include topic related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology based on fundamentals and day to day activity (i.e difference between the living and non-living, basis of life- cells, protoplasms and tissues, growth and reproduction in plants and animals, elementary knowledge of human body and its important organs, common epidemics, their causes and prevention etc).

Mathematics (15 Questions): Number Systems- Computation of Whole Number, Decimal and Fractions, Relationship between numbers; Fundamental Arithmetical Operations- HCF, LCM, Decimal fraction, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Time and distance, Time and work; Algebra- Basic algebraic problems; Geometry- Familiarity with elementary geometric figures and facts; Mensuration- Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle etc.

Logical Reasoning: 05 Questions.

Bonus Marks in Written Exam (CEE):
Only one ward (daughter) of Service/ Ex-Servicemen/ War Widow/ Widow of Ex-servicemen can avail bonus marks in the written exam. Bonus marks will be accorded on qualifying in the written examination. Only one relaxation can be availed on producing the Original Certificate. Bonus marks in the written exam (CEE) will be awarded as follows:

Daughter of Servicemen (DOS), Daughter of Ex-Servicemen (DOEX), Daughter of War Widow (DOWW), Daughter of Widow of Ex-Servicemen (DOW), Adoption done during lifetime of a soldier (one daughter only) – 20 Marks.
Widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness – 20 Marks.

Sportswoman:

  • Represented India at the International Level: 20 Marks
  • Represented State at the Senior/Junior National level: 15 Marks
  • Represented College / University in Inter University Championship: 10 Marks
  • Represented State at National Level: 10 Marks
  • Represented District at the State Level: 05 Marks
  • Represented State school team in All India School Games: 05 Marks

National Cadet Corps (NCC):

  • NCC A Certificate Holders – 5 Marks
  • NCC B Certificate Holders – 10 Marks
  • NCC C Certificate Holders – 20 Marks
  • NCC C Certificate and participated in Republic Day Parade – 25 Marks

List of Games and Sports for Enrolment in Indian Army:
Athletics including Track and field events, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Equestrian, Football, Fencing, Gymnastics, Body Building (Best Physique), Golf, Hockey, Handball, Judo, Kabaddi, Kayaking & Canoeing, Karate, Lawn Tennis, Rowing, Rugby, Swimming, Diving & Water polo, Squash, Shooting, Sailing, Taekwondo, Triathlon, Volleyball, Weight Lifting, Wrestling, Winter Games (Ice Hockey, Biathlon, Skiing, Ice Skating, etc) and Wushu.

After completion of Phase-1, Written Exam (Online CEE) Result will be declared through the official website. The roll number of the candidates who are in merit will be issued Admit Card for Recruitment Rally (Phase-2) as per the schedule of respective Zone (ZRO).

Recruitment Rally

Candidates declared qualified and shortlisted in Phase-1 will have to report on the respective date and time for Phase-2 (Recruitment Rally) at the designated rally venue with following Required documents/ certificates in original along with 02 attested photocopies:

  • Admit Card (printed on Laser Printer on good quality paper).
  • 20 passport size colour photographs (not more than 03 months old).
  • 10th/ 12th/ Higher Education certificates and marks sheets. Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should carry School Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO.
  • Domicile certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar/ District Magistrate.
  • Caste certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar/ District Magistrate.
  • Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/ SDM (if religion as “SIKH/ HINDU/ MUSLIM/ CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate).
  • School Character certificate issued by the School/ College Principal/ Headmaster.
  • Character Certificate with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last 06 months.
  • Unmarried certificate (for all candidates) with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last 06 months.
  • Relationship Certificate issued from respective Record Office (if applicable).
  • NCC A/ B/ C/ Republic Day Parade certificate with photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority (if any).
  • Sports Certificate (for outstanding sportsperson).
  • Affidavit (in the prescribed format) duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper duly attested by notary.
  • Certificates for Bonus Marks (if applicable).
  • PAN Card and Aadhar Card.
  • Police Character Certificate.
  • Sarpanch/ Nagar Sewak (Residence Proof).

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

The PFT consists of the following tests:
1.6 Km Run – Group 1: Up to 07 Minutes 30 Seconds and Group 2: Up to 08 Minutes.
Long Jump 10 Feet – Need to qualify.
High Jump 3 Feet – Need to qualify.

Provisions for Extra Time for 1.6 Km Run in Hilly Terrain is as follows:
Between 5000 to 9000 Feet – Add 30 Seconds to all timings.
Between 9000 to 12000 Feet – Add 120 Seconds to all timings.

1.6 Km run may take place on Road/ Hard surface due to weather condition. All candidates are advised to use suitable running footwear (shoes) for 1.6 Km run and practice accordingly for the recruitment rally.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Physical Standards:
Height – Minimum 162 Cms [04 Cms height relaxation for North East Region (Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Assam), Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Ladakhis and Tribals of recognized tribal areas].
Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standards.
Chest Expansion – The candidate should be capable of chest expansion of 05 Cms.

Relaxation in Physical Standards:

  • Widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness: Height – 02 Cms and Weight – 02 Kgs.
  • Sportswomen: Height – 02 Cms and Weight – 05 Kgs.

An eligible candidate can be granted prescribed relaxations in all two measurements i.e. height and weight.

Adaptability Test

Women Military Police candidates declared qualified in Physical Fitness Test and Physical Measurement Test will have to undergo Adaptability Test as per policy in vogue. Adaptability Test is for selection of candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Army and are able to adapt to the challenges of military life.

Candidates qualified in the Adaptability Test will be eligible for medical exam and further recruitment process. Those candidates who do not qualify the Adaptability Test will not be allowed for further participation in recruitment process. Candidates will be allowed to carry their Smart Phones for the duration of Adaptability Test.

Medical Examination

Candidates qualified in Physical fitness test, Physical measurement test and Adaptability test will be put through Medical examination by Army Medical Team at the Rally site as per Army Medical standards and policy in vogue. Unfit candidates will be referred to Military Hospital for specialist review.

Candidates must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of military duty in all weather and across all terrains. Any female candidate, if found to be pregnant shall be disqualified and her candidature rejected.

Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection.

You are advised in your own interest to undergo medical exam before reporting for recruitment rally especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements. You are advised to ensure that your ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to the recruitment rally.

Final Result will be declared through the Join Indian Army website. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. Thereafter training of selected candidates will commence at the Corps of Military Police (CMP) Centre and School, Bengaluru.

Online Application form, Bharti Rally Schedule and Notification

Eligible and interested female candidates looking for Defence Jobs can submit online applications for the Indian Army Women Military Police Recruitment through the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in up to 22nd March 2024. Before submitting the Women MP (WMP) Application form, you will have to complete the one time registration process. Thereafter you can submit online application form using the Registration ID and Password.

Examination fee – All candidates will have to pay Rs 250/- plus banking charges (as applicable) for the online examination. The payment can be made through Maestro, Master Card, VISA, Rupay both Credit and Debit Cards of all major banks, Internet banking and UPI.
