उत्तराखण्ड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग द्वारा समूह ‘ग’ के अन्तर्गत पशुपालन विभाग में पशुधन प्रसार अधिकारी (सीधी भर्ती) के 108 रिक्त पदों तथा पशुधन प्रसार अधिकारी (विभागीय) के 12 रिक्त पदों, अर्थात कुल 120 रिक्त पदों पर चयन हेतु 13 मई से 02 जून 2026 तक ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र आमन्त्रित किए गए हैं।

Group C (समूह ‘ग’) के सीधी भर्ती के निम्नलिखित पदों पर भर्ती हेतु अभ्यर्थी का उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में स्थित किसी सेवायोजन कार्यालय में आवेदन-पत्र प्राप्ति की अंतिम तिथि तक पंजीकरण हुआ हो, या अभ्यर्थी उत्तराखण्ड राज्य का मूल निवास स्थाई निवास प्रमाण-पत्र धारक हो, या अभ्यर्थी द्वारा अपनी हाई स्कूल या इण्टरमीडिएट अथवा इसके समकक्ष स्तर की शिक्षा उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में स्थित मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थानों से उत्तीर्ण की गई हो।
Total Number of Vacancies – 120 Posts (Group C).

Pay Scale – Rs 35400-112400 (Level-06).
Uttarakhand Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari Vacancy Details:
Direct Recruitment – 108 Vacancies (UR-58, EWS-10, SC-21, ST-04, OBC-15).
Departmental (AHD) – 12 Vacancies (UR-08, SC-03, OBC-01).
Age Limit – 21 to 42 years as 01 Jul 2026. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/ Agriculture/ Animal Husbandry from a recognized University and Intermediate with Biology/ Agriculture for departmental candidates.

अधिमानी अर्हताएं – अन्य बातों के समान हाने पर, सीधी भर्ती के मामले में ऐसे अभ्यर्थी को अधिमान दिया जायेगा जिसने:-
1. नेशनल कैडेट कोर का ‘बी’ प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त किया हो, या
2. एन.एस.एस का प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त किया हो, या
3. रिमाउन्ट वैटरीनरी कोर में वैटरीनरी ड्रैसर श्रेणी-1 तथा श्रेणी-2 के रूप में निरन्तर 15 वर्ष की सक्रिय सेवा की हो।
पशुपालन विभाग के विभागीय कार्मिकों हेतु – विभागीय कर्मचारी जिन्होंने भर्ती के वर्ष के प्रथम दिवस को पशुपालन विभाग उत्तराखण्ड में 5 वर्ष की निरंतर सेवा पूर्ण कर ली हो तथा उत्तराखण्ड विद्यालयी शिक्षा एवं परीक्षा परिषद् या उत्तर प्रदेश माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद् से जीव विज्ञान या कृषि विषय के साथ इण्टरमीडिएट परीक्षा या सरकार द्वारा इसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त कोई परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण की हो।

Selection Process and Exam Syllabus
The recruitment process for Uttarakhand Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari consists of an objective type written examination (carrying a maximum of 100 Marks) which is scheduled to be conducted in July 2026 (Tentative). The question paper will be of 02 Hours duration and will contain a total of 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions (01 mark each) based on Biology/ Agriculture/ Animal Husbandry subject as per the post.
Minimum 45 Marks for UR/ EWS/ OBC and 35 Marks for SC/ST are required to qualify in the written exam. Negative marking of ¼ marks will be applicable for every wrong answer given by candidates.
For selection, merit will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. In the case of obtaining similar marks by two or more candidates, the merit will be determined on the basis of higher age.
Candidates selected for the post of Livestock Extension Officer (LEO) will have to undergo minimum 06 months training at the Departmental Training Centre before appointment or such training as may be prescribed by the Government from time to time.
The selected candidates will be given 06 months of training at departmental veterinary hospitals under the supervision of a Veterinary Officer before appointment. Salary, honorarium or other allowances are not payable to the concerned candidates during the training period.
