Total Number of Vacancies – 91 Posts (Group C)
The post-wise salary, number of vacancies, educational qualification and age limit for FRI Samuh G Bharti 2026 are as follows:
1. Library Information Assistant
Pay Scale – Rs 35400- 112400 (Level-6).
Number of Vacancies – 02 (UR-02).
Educational Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in Library Science from a recognized University.
Age Limit – 18 to 27 years.
2. Technical Assistant (Field/ Lab Research)
Pay Scale – Rs 29200-92300 (Level 5).
Number of Vacancies – 04 (ST-01, OBC-02, EWS-01).
Educational Qualification – Bachelor degree in Science from a recognized University with Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Environment/ Ecology/ Bio Technology/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Geology/ Bio-Chemistry as one of the subject.
Age Limit – 21 to 30 years.
3. Stenographer Grade II
Pay Scale – Rs 25500- 81100 (Level 4).
Number of Vacancies – 02 (UR-02).
Educational Qualification – 12th Pass from a recognized Board. Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography in English/Hindi. Certificate Course in computer applications with typing speed 5 key depression for each word.
Age Limit – 18 to 27 years.

4. Technician (Field/ Lab Research)
Pay Scale – Rs 21700- 69100 (Level 3).
Number of Vacancies – 11 (ST-02, OBC-08, EWS-01).
Educational Qualification – 12th Pass (10+2) in Science with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Age Limit – 18 to 30 years.
5. Store Keeper
Pay Scale – Rs 21700- 69100 (Level 3).
Number of Vacancies – 03 (UR-02, OBC-01).
Educational Qualification – 12th Pass from a recognized board.
Age Limit – 18 to 27 years.
6. Technician (Maintenanсе)
Pay Scale – Rs 19900-63200 (Level 2).
Number of Vacancies – 09 (Information Technology-01, Carpenter-02, Pump Operator Cum Mechanic-02, Plumber-02, Electrician-02).
Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) and ITI certificate in relevant trade or equivalent certificate course from a Govt recognized Institute.
Age Limit – 18 to 30 years.
7. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
Pay Scale – Rs 19900-63200 (Level 2)
Number of Vacancies – 08 (ST-02, OBC-03, EWS-03)
Educational Qualification – 12th Pass from a recognized Board. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
Age Limit – 18 to 27 years.
8. Forest Guard
Pay Scale – Rs 19900-63200 (Level 2)
Number of Vacancies – 07 (UR-04, SC-01, OBC-02)
Educational Qualification – 12th Pass with Science from a govt recognized board.
Physical Standards – Male (Walk: 25 Kms in 04 hours, Height: 165 Cms, Chest: 79-84 Cms) and Female (Walk: 14 Kms in 04 hours, Height: 150 Cms, Chest: 74-79 Cms).
Age Limit – 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale – Rs 18000-56900 (Level 1)
Number of Vacancies – 45 (UR-03, ST-08, OBC-24, EWS-10)
Educational Qualification – 10th Pass from a govt recognized board. 03 years or more experience in relevant field is desirable.
Age Limit – 18 to 27 years.
All the above posts are as per ICFRE pay scale and include allowances like house rent, transport and children’s education as admissible to ICFRE employees of the respective pay level posted in ICFRE/FRI. These posts will be covered under the New Pension Scheme of the Govt of India and the incumbent will also get other benefits like medical, LTC etc as per the Govt/ Institute rules.
Note: The number of Group C (Samuh G) posts mentioned may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the institute. The crucial date for calculation of age will be the last date of submission of online application form. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, Ex-servicemen and other categories will be applicable as per govt rules.
Recruitment Procedure:
The selection process consists of Stage-I (Computer Based Test or CBT), Stage-II (Descriptive Test) and Stage-III (Trade Test/ Typing Test/ Physical Test, as applicable). After the scrutiny of applications, only eligible candidates will be issued Admit Card for CBT exam. Online Application Form, Date and Notification
All eligible and interested candidates are required to register and submit online application form for FRI Dehradun (Uttarakhand) Group C Recruitment through the website fri.icfre.gov.in or friexam.in till 03 June 2026. Candidates want to apply for more than one post are required to apply separately for each post.
Keep ready scanned images of Photograph, Signature (use Black or Blue Ink pen on white paper), Left Hand thumb impression and all necessary details. Candidates must keep all the documents ready for uploading while filling the online form, and the same uploaded documents must be produced at the time of document verification.

Registration – Firstly go to the FRI Application Portal and click on ‘New Registration’. Fill up all the required information (Aadhaar Card Number, Mobile Number, Email ID, Name, Class 10th Roll Number, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name etc in the registration form. After submitting the details, your UserId will be generated and you will receive the Application Number and Password via SMS and Email. Note down and preserve your User ID and Password for further requirements.
Profile – To complete your Profile, login to the website using your User ID & Password (created in registration) to access the dashboard. Now you have to edit User Details and complete all the required information like sign & photo, education other details to complete your profile. After submitting the profile details, you can now check for expired, live or upcoming advertisements for various opportunities in FRI Dehradun.
Application form – To submit the application form for FRI Group C Recruitment, click on Apply link under the live applications. Re-check the pre-filled application form details or change the details as required and then pay the application fee (as applicable). Finally, you can take a printout of the submitted for record or reference.
