Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational/ Sports Qualification)

Age Limit – 18 to 23 Years as on closing date of receipt of application. Relaxation in upper age limit for UR, OBC, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and other categories will be applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – 12th Pass (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.

Sports Qualification – Sportsperson must have won any medal in Individual Event (National) in National Games/ National Championships (Both Junior & Senior) OR The team of sportsperson must have won any medal in Team Event (National) in National Games/ National Championships (Both Junior & Senior) OR Sportsperson must have represented the Country in any international repute championship, conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/ Association during last 03 years from the date of publication of recruitment notification.

CRPF Sports Quota Selection Process and Recruitment Tests

Eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be issued admit card or call letter to appear in the recruitment process. Recruitment process will consist of Testimonials/ documents checking, Physical Standard Test (PST), Sports Trial Test and Medical Examination. Final selection will be done on the basis of sports achievements, qualifications and qualitative requirement.

Physical Standards (Height, Chest, Weight)

Height:
GEN/SC/OBC Category – Male: 170 Cms and Female: 157 Cms
Garhwais, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh – Male: 165 Cms and Female: 155 Cms
ST Category – Male: 162.5 Cms and Female: 150 Cms

Chest (Only for Male candidates):
GEN/SC/OBC Category – 80-85 Cms
Garhwais, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh – 78-83 Cms
ST Category – 76-81 Cms

Weight (Male and Female): Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

CRPF Sports Quota shortlisted candidates list for PST/ Trial Test will be available online on the official website. In case of non receipt of Admit Card/ Call Letter by Post, you may appear at the concerned recruitment centre with a printout of relevant page of candidates list along with your Photo ID Proof (in original).

After completion of Sports Trial Test, sports discipline wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates as per their achievements and marks awarded by the B.O.O during the Trial Test. Thereafter candidates selected in order of merit as per number of vacancies will be put through Medical Examination (DME/ RME) to assess their fitness as per the medical standards.

Eligible and desirous candidates can apply for the CRPF Head Constable GD Sports Quota Vacancies in the prescribed application form (offline) by downloading from crpf.gov.in through the direct links below. Take printout of the application form, admit card and certificate formats from the downloaded official recruitment notice. Thereafter send the Sports Quota application form complete in all respect along with the following required documents by Post to the authority address as mentioned against each discipline below.

Envelope containing application must be superscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSON IN CRPF AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2022”.

Documents Required to be Attached with Application:
1. Self attested copy of sports achievements certificates related to events/ discipline.
2. Self attested copy 10th/ 12th Class pass certificate.
3. Self attested copy of caste certificate in prescribed format.
4. Self attested copy of Aadhaar Card (if available).
5. Application fee in the form of Postal Order/ Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque (if applicable).
6. Two self-addressed envelopes (23×10 Cms size) with postage stamp of Rs 25/- affixed on each envelope.
7. Form for issue of Admit Card with passport size photograph.
8. No objection Certificate in case of Govt employee in prescribed format.
9. Certificate related to relaxation in height and chest (if applicable).
10. Questionnaire form as per prescribed format.

Application fee:
Male candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay Rs 100/- as application fee in the form of Postal Order/ Demand Draft from State Bank of India drawn in favour of the Authority address as mentioned above. SC/ST and Female candidates are exempted from application fee.

Last date for receipt of Application form for far flung areas of States of NE Region, Ladakh Division of J&K, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District, Lahaul&Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Island and Lakshdweep – Within 45 days from the next day of publication of recruitment Advertisement.
