Assam Rifles invited online applications for filling up the following 1380 Vacancies of Tradesman and Technical (Group B & C) in Naib Subedar, Havildar, Warrant Officer and Rifleman rank. All eligible male and female candidates can apply online for the AR Technical and Tradesman Vacancies of Clerk, Operator Radio & Line, Religious Teacher, Armourer, Lab Assistant, Aya, Washerman etc through www.assamrifles.gov.in from 06th June to 20th July 2022. Assam Rifles Tradesman Bharti Technical Rally 2022-2023 as state wise vacancy details, online application form, qualification, physical, exam syllabus, admit card, notification etc is given below.
Assam Rifles Tradesman Technical Recruitment
Pay Scale (Salary) – Pay scale and other allowances will be admissible as per the pay scale applicable to the Assam Rifles Personnel.

The number of vacancies may increase or decrease. 10% vacancies will be reserved for Ex-servicemen or ESM in Religious Teacher, Operator Radio and Line, Armourer and AYA trades. All three Armed Forces i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force of the Union will be treated as Ex-Servicemen. Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)
Age Limit (As on 01.08.2022):
Naib Subedar (Bridge & Road), Warrant Officer (Radio Mechanic), Rifleman (Armourer, Laboratory Assistant, Nursing Assistant and Washerman) – 18 to 23 years.
Havildar (Clerk and Operator Radio & Line) and Rifleman (Aya) – 18 to 25 years.
Naib Subedar (Religious Teacher) – 18 to 30 years.
Warrant Officer (Veterinary Field Assistant) – 21 to 23 years.
Note: Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Serving Assam Rifles personnel/ Ex-Serviceman will be applicable as per Govt rules.
Naib Subedar (Bridge & Road) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) with Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution for Bridge and Road.
Havildar (Clerk) – 12th Pass (10+2) from a recognised Board or equivalent qualification. Candidate should have English typing with minimum speed of 35 wpm or Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 wpm on computer (10 minutes time allowed).
Naib Subedar (Religious Teacher) – Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi.
Havildar (Operator Radio and Line) – 10th Pass from a recognised Board with Diploma in Radio and Television Technology or Electronics or Telecommunications or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic appliances from any institution recognised by the Central/ State Govt OR 12th Pass (Intermediate) or equivalent with aggregate marks of 50% with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University or institution.
Rifleman (Laboratory Assistant and Nursing Assistant) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) with English, Maths, Science and Biology from a recognised Board.
Warrant Officer (Veterinary Field Assistant) – 12th Pass (10+2) and 02 years Diploma certificate in Veterinary Science from any recognised university or institution with 01 year experience.
Rifleman (Armourer, Aya and Washerman) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognised Board.

Note: Chest standard will be applicable for male candidates only. Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per medical standards (for male and female candidates).
Selection Process, PET, Written and Trade Test Pattern
Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally is scheduled to be organized from 01 September 2022 onwards at Diphu, Karbi Anglong (Assam), Sukhovi (Nagaland), Dimapur (Nagaland), Silchar, Masimpur (Assam) and Haflong (Assam) centres. The selection process for Assam Rifles Tradesman and Technical posts will consist of Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Exam, Trade/ Skill Test and Medical Examination. All the information about conduct of various events PST, PET, Written test etc of the bharti rally will be intimated to candidates through Official website/ Email/ SMS.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Male candidates – 05 Kms run within 24 Minutes.
Female candidates – 1.6 Kms run within 8.30 Minutes.
Ladakh Region (Male Candidates – 1.6 Kms run within 6.30 minutes and Female Candidates – 800 meters run within 4.00 minutes).
Trade Test (Skill Test) – The Trade Test (Skill Test) of technical and tradesman posts will be conducted after the completion of PET/PST. No marks will be awarded for trade (skill) test. The candidates declared pass in the trade (skill) test will only be allowed to appear in the Written Test. The Trade Test (Skill Test) will be qualifying in nature.
Written Test – Assam Rifles Bharti question paper will comprise of 100 marks. Minimum pass marks for General/ EWS candidates will be 35% and 33% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.
Bonus marks to NCC Certificate holders:
NCC C Certificate – 05 Marks
NCC B Certificate – 03 Marks
NCC A Certificate – 02 Marks
The benefit to NCC Certificate holders will only be given on production of the original certificate at the time of document verification.
Final selection of the candidates will depend upon the merit list according to the availability of vacancies against the particular State/ Category/ Trade. Candidates will be considered for recruitment in their respective State/UT on production of valid Domicile or Permanent Residential Certificate by the Competent Authority.

Online Application form, Important Dates and Notification
Eligible and desirous candidates are required to apply online for the Assam Rifles Tradesman Technical Recruitment Rally. You can submit the online application form through www.assamrifles.gov.in from 06th June to 20th July 2022. All candidates will have to produce the printed copy of online application form and a copy of Admit Card/ Call Letter (downloaded from the official website) at the time of PST/ PET. Provide all the required details such as name, date of birth, gender, marital status, aadhaar number, identification marks, category, mobile number, email id, educational qualification, address etc correctly while submitting the online form.
After successful registration of online form take a print out of the computer generated application form for further requirements. Candidates will have to produce the printed copy of online application form duly completed and a copy of official recruitment notification at the time of PST/ PET.
Naib Subedar (Bridge & Road and Religious Teacher) – Rs 200/-
All other trades (Group C) – Rs 100/-
The application fee can be deposited through online mode or through challan by depositing into SBI Current Account No. 37088046712 in favour of HQ DGAR, Recruitment Branch, Shillong-10 at SBI Laitkor Branch IFSC Code – SBIN0013883. Candidates will have to produce original copy of payment receipt/ challan at the time of PST/ PET for official records. SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates are not required to submit the fee.
