SSB Sports Quota Recruitment 404 Constable GD 2026-2027

Sashastra Seema Bal has invited applications for filling up the following 404 Vacancies of Constable (General Duty) against the Sports Quota Recruitment. All eligible sportspersons can apply online for SSB Sports Quota Bharti Vacancies of Archery, Athletics, Boxing, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Karate, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Wrestling, Wushu etc through recruitment.ssb.gov.in till 07 June 2026. SSB Sports Quota Recruitment 2026-2027 as online application form, salary, vacancy details, eligibility, selection process, physical, dates, notification etc are given below.

SSB Sports Quota CT(GD) Recruitment 2026

Pay Scale – Rs 21700-69100 (as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix level-3) and other allowances as admissible in the Force from time to time under the instructions. Candidates selected for the post of CT(GD) under Sports Quota will be governed under Contribution Pension Scheme (New Pension Scheme).

Age, Educational and Sports Qualification

Age Limit – 18 to 23 Years as on closing date of receipt of applications. Relaxation in upper age limit for UR, SC, ST, OBC and other categories will be applicable as per the Central Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) from any recognized Board.

Sports Qualification (in Order of Preference):

1. Sportspersons who have represented a state or the country in the National or International competitions. Or
2. Medal winners in Senior/ Junior National Championships. Or
3. Medal winners in Khelo India Youth Games (age category above 18 years); and Khelo India Winter Games or Khelo India Para Games. Or
4. Medal winners in Khelo India University Games. Or
5. Medal winners in School Games Federation of India (SGFI). Or
6. Sportspersons who have represented the University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Boards. Or
7. Sportspersons who have represented the State School Teams in the National Sports/Games for School conducted by the all India School Games Federations.

Note: Sports qualification will be taken on consideration of the participation/ achievements by the candidates in the past 02 years only (cut off date for determining the eligibility criteria will be the closing date of receipt of application).

In case, a sportsperson produces a document regarding his/her achievement/ certificate after the submission of online application and upto the start of the documentation process, his/her achievement will be accepted and considered documentation process provided the qualifying documents are essentially required with the application form on or before the cut off date.

SSB Sports Quota Selection Process and Physical

Eligible candidates whose applications are found to be in order will be issued an online Admit Card indicating the date and place of reporting for the selection process. The selection process will be conducted in 02 stages, which are as follows:

Stage I – For candidates with International participation/ medal winners and for National medal winners upto 3rd place.

After verification of biometric, photo, signature and admit card at the recruitment venue, candidates eligible for Stage-I recruitment process will have to go through the following stages (tests):

1. Documentation
2. Checking of Sports Achievements
3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
5. Review Medical Examination (RME)
6. Final Selection

Stage II – The second stage of recruitment will be conducted for other eligible candidates, if vacancies remained unfilled after selection of candidates having medals/ participations in International and medals winners in national competitions upto 3rd place.

After verification of biometric, photo, signature and admit card at the recruitment venue, candidates eligible for Stage-II recruitment process will have to go through the following stages (tests):

1. Documentation
2. Field Trial/ Skill Test
3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
5. Review Medical Examination (RME)
6. Final Selection

For selection as Constable (General Duty) or CT (GD), the final merit list (result) of qualified candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Sports Achievements/Field Trial/Skill Test, depending on the vacancy in the particular event and weight category.

Height:

GEN/SC/OBC Category: Male-170 Cms and Female-157 Cms.
Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and candidates from Assam, Himachal Pradesh, UT J&K and UT Ladakh: Male-165 Cms and Female-155 Cms.
Candidates from NE States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura: Male-162.5 Cms and Female-152.5 Cms.
ST Category (except NE States): Male-162.5 Cms and Female-150 Cms.
ST Category (NE States): Male-157 Cms and Female-147.5 Cms.

Chest (Only for Male candidates):

GEN/SC/OBC Category: 80-85 Cms.
Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and candidates from Assam, Himachal Pradesh, UT J&K and UT Ladakh: 78-83 Cms.
Candidates from NE States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura: 77-82 Cms.
ST Category (All): 76-81 Cms.

Weight (Male and Female) – Proportionate to height and age as per Medical Standards.

Documents Required at the time of Recruitment Tests

1. Matriculation certificate in support of Name and Age.
2. All Certificates in support of educational qualifications.
3. Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC).
4. Certificate for relaxation in height and chest issued by Competent Authority (District Magistrate/ Sub-Divisional Magistrate/ Tehsildar).
5. Domicile/ Nativity Certificate.
6. Sports Certificates related to the event/ discipline.
7. Any other documents (as intimated in Admit Card).

Online Application Form, Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates are required to submit online form for the SSB Sports Quota Recruitment Constable Vacancies through the website recruitment.ssb.gov.in or applyssb.com from 09 May to 07 June 2026. Before applying online, keep ready scanned images of photograph, signature and required documents for uploading with the online form.

To submit the SSB Sports Quota Online Application Form, complete all the three parts as follows:

Part 1 (Registration) – Fill personal details as Candidate’s name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Religion, Marital status, Category, Aadhar number, Identification mark, Mobile number, Email ID, Educational details, Sports achievements, Address etc to complete the registration process.

Part 2 (Photo, Signature and Documents upload) – Upload photograph with 100 x 120 pixels size (4 Kb – 12 Kb) and signature with 140 x 60 pixels size (4kb – 12 kb) in JPG format and required documents in PDF format (50 Kb – 100 Kb).

Part 3 (Fee payment) – Pay the application fee through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or Challan.

Not down and preserve your registration/ application number and password for login to the system to check the recruitment updates. After successful submission of online form, take printout of the system generated application form (Acknowledgement). The printout of online application form or any other document is not required to be sent to SSB. However, the Acknowledgement and all other supporting documents will be required at the time of recruitment test.

Application fee – UR, EWS and OBC candidates are required to pay Rs 100/- as application fee through online mode using Net banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI. SC, ST, Ex-serviceman and Female candidates are not required to pay the fee.

SSB Sports Quota Admit Card – Candidates eligible for the Recruitment Process (Stage-I/Stage-II) will be issued Admit Card or Call Letter through the official website which can be downloaded 2-3 weeks before the exam date. You have to report at the respective recruitment exam centre with the Admit Card along with all the original documents.
