Uttarakhand DElEd Application Form and Exam Updates 2026

Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has invited applications for the entrance exam for two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) course in DIETs located in the state. Eligible candidates interested in Teacher Jobs in Govt Primary Schools can fill the online form for the entrance exam through ukdeled.com till 06 October 2026. Uttarakhand DElEd Entrance Exam 2026

Age Limit – 19 to 30 Years as on 01st July 2027 i.e. candidate should be born between 01 July 1997 and 01 July 2008 (Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Govt rules).

Educational Qualification – The candidate must have passed Graduation examination with Science or Non-Science subjects from a recognized University before the last date of application.

Total Number of Seats – 650 (50 Seats for each DIET). For the two-year DElEd training, 50% science category candidates and 50% non-science category candidates will be selected against district wise allotted seats.

BSc Degree holders and BTech/ BPharma/ BBA/ BCA Degree holders who have passed the Intermediate exam in Science stream, can apply under Science Group. Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture can also apply under Science category.

BA Degree holders and BBA/ BCA Degree holders who have passed the Intermediate exam in Humanities stream, can apply under Non-Science (Arts) Group. Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce can also apply under Non-Science (Arts) category.

DElEd Course (Training) fees – ₹35000 per year, and ₹1000 per semester in the form of examination fee.

Candidates will be selected for the 02 years self financed DElEd (earlier it was known as BTC) training at respective District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. For selection, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam.

DElEd Selection Process, Syllabus and Exam Centres

This year Uttarakhand DElEd Entrance Exam is to be conducted by UBSE on 18th November 2026 (Proposed). The entrance examination will be of 02 Hours 30 Minutes duration and will consist of a total of 200 multiple choice objective type questions carrying a maximum of 200 Marks (01 mark each).

DElEd Question paper will consist of questions based on General Knowledge (Awareness), General Mental Ability, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and Teaching Aptitude.

1. General Knowledge/Awareness – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
2. General Intelligence and Reasoning – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
3. Numerical Ability – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
4. Teaching Aptitude – 50 Questions (50 Marks)

There will be no negative marking in the entrance exam. For selection, district and category wise merit lists will be prepared separately on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. Before admission or allotment of seats in DIETs, all shortlisted candidates will have to undergo documentation process at the time of counselling.

द्विवर्षीय डी.एल.एड प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त अभ्यार्थियों को प्रशिक्षणोपरान्त राजकीय सेवा में सेवायोजित किये जाने की कोई बाध्यता नहीं होगी किन्तु तत्समय प्रचलित सेवा नियमावली में विहित न्यूनतम प्रशिक्षण/ अन्य निर्धारित योग्यता धारित करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों को ही नियमानुसार सेवा में लिया जायेगा।

Entrance Exam Centre – Candidates will have to fill the choices of centers for the entrance exam and preference will be given in allocation of exam centers based on choices. While applying, candidates will also have to give preference for training for all the 13 districts, but will have to give first preference to their home district only.

The exam will be held in the following 29 cities of all 13 districts of the State. The exam cities or centres are as follows:

DElEd Exam Centres – Haridwar, Roorkee, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Uttarkashi, Badkot, New Tehri, Narendranagar, Pauri, Srinagar, Kotdwar, Gopeshwar, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, Agastyamuni, Pithoragarh, Berinag, Didihat, Champawat, Tanakpur, Almora, Ranikhet, Bageshwar, Garur, Nainital, Haldwani, Ramnagar, Rudrapur and Kashipur.

Application Form, Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates are required to submit online application form for Uttarakhand DElEd Entrance Exam 2026-2027 through the official website ubse.uk.gov.in or ukdeled.com as per the schedule released by the Board i.e. from 15th September to 06th October 2026.

To apply online for DElEd follow the important instructions below:

Registration – Firstly go to the ukdeled.com and click on New Registration link. Read and acknowledge the provided terms & conditions and then click on Proceed to Registration button (if not already registered). Thereafter submit the required details as Candidate’s name, Father’s name, Mobile number and Email ID.

After submitting the details, an OTP will be sent on your Mobile number and Email ID. After verifying the OTP, your Registration number and Password will be sent on the registered Mobile number and Email ID.

Application Form – To complete the Application part, you will have to login to the website ukdeled.com using your Registration number and Password (sent on registered Mobile number/ Email ID). Now proceed to fill up all the required information (Category, Mother’s name, Qualification, Exam centers, Address, Gender, Identity proof, Training district preference etc) to complete the step.

Thereafter upload your latest colour photograph (5-100 kb, 140×170 pixel), signature (2-50 kb, 180×70 pixel) and left hand thumb impression (10-150 kb, 250×150 pixel) in JPG format. Finally, pay the application fee (as applicable) and take a printout of the submitted application form for record or reference.

Correction in Online Application

In the past few years, the list of D.El.Ed application forms found incorrect/ incomplete/ rejected was released by the board. But from now onwards, the board is providing a chance for online correction. Many applicants submit incorrect application fee, age, category, group, centre etc in application form. The Board provides an opportunity to such candidates to rectify the deficiencies before the final cancellation.

The candidates can check their application status and particulars on the website. The candidature of the candidate, whose fees has not been received by the Board, will not be considered for the D.El.Ed Entrance examination.

Candidates who have filled their DElEd Application forms by the last date are informed that if they want to make changes in their application form, then they can make online changes/ corrections in their applications during correction window i.e. from 09th Oct to 11th Oct 2026 (11:59 PM).

To make corrections, applicants have to login to the official website and change the details using their Registration number and Password generated at the time of submission of application.

DElEd Admit Card Download 2026

Uttarakhand DElEd Admit Card will be released by UBSE and can be downloaded online through the official website ubse.uk.gov.in or ukdeled.com for the entrance exam scheduled to be held on 18th November 2026. The admit card will not be sent by Post. You will have to carry the downloaded Admit Card along with a valid Photo ID proof (as filled in application form) to appear at the respective exam centre.

You can download the admit card using your registration number and password or name and date of birth (as mentioned in the application form). In case you do not receive your admit card online, you can obtain it offline by appearing at the DElEd Nodal Examination Centre (see list given with admit card notice) on 16-17 Nov 2026.

To get your admit card offline you will have to submit a photocopy of the online application form, 02 passport size photographs (as uploaded in the application form) and a photocopy of the photo identity card (mentioned in the application form).

DElEd Answer Key and Result 2026-2027

If any candidate has any objection to the answer to any question(s) then they can send their objection (pratyavedan) on the form prescribed by the Board along with the proof through email at deled2015@gmail.com only. You will have to attach a self-attested photocopy of the reference to confirm your objection.

Candidates can submit an objection (pratyavedan) on only one question/ answer in a form, if there is an objection to more than one question/ answer then prepare and submit objection (pratyavedan) on a separate form for each, otherwise the objection (pratyavedan) will not be considered.

Counselling Schedule, Documents and Waiting list

Uttarakhand D.El.Ed Counselling dates with Notification for screening of documents and allotment of district will be released by SCERT. Counselling for the 02 years training will be conducted by the SCERT Uttarakhand at the auditorium of State Council of Educational Research & Training, Nanurkhera, Dehradun.

Candidates appearing in the counselling process will have to fill a choice form for the seats of 13 DIETs of Uttarakhand, as per their preference and priority. Candidates have to fill Home District as first preference.

After category and group wise counselling for all the places/seats, the process of filling the seats for training will be started on the basis of order of preference and merit mentioned in the choice form filled by the candidates.

For admission, DElEd Counselling will be conducted at the state level by SCERT Uttarakhand. At the time of counselling, the process of district allocation will be done by SCERT by verifying the information mentioned by the candidates in the online application form with the original records.

Candidates will have to appear for the counselling as per the schedule along with required original certificates/ documents as listed below:

Required Documents

Candidates declared successful in the DElEd Entrance Exam will have to submit all the certificates related to the educational qualifications (as mentioned in the release of Uttarakhand Vidyalaya Shiksha Parishad) and other certificates to the screening committee compulsorily.

The details given on the application form by the candidates will be verified at the time of counselling with the following required original certificates/ documents:

1. High School exam marksheet.
2. High School exam certificate.
3. Marksheet of Intermediate exam.
4. Certificate of Intermediate examination.
5. Marksheet of each Year/ Semester of Graduation.
6. Certificate of Graduation.
7. Certificate issued by Competent Officer in respect of SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS Category.
8. Certificate issued by Competent Officer in respect of DFF/ PH/ Ex-Serviceman/ Orphan Category.
9. Domicile certificate or Permanent Residence certificate.
10. Employer issued (of Guardian/ Own) service/ certificate of employment (as per the attached format).
11. Admit Card issued for the DElEd Entrance Examination.
12. Aadhaar Card or any other valid ID with photo.
13. 02 Passport size photographs.
