Uttarakhand Abkari Vibhag Constable SI Recruitment 2023-2024

UKSSSC invited applications for filling up the following 100 Vacancies of Abkari Sipahi (Constable) and 14 Vacancies of Sub Abkari Inspector (SI) in Excise department. The recruitment is being conducted by UKSSSC under Intermediate Level Samuh G Recruitment. UKSSSC Abkari Sipahi and Sub Abkari Inspector Exam

उत्तराखण्ड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग (UKSSSC) द्वारा इंटरमीडिएट स्तरीय समूह ‘ग’ भर्ती 2023-2024 के अन्तर्गत कार्यालय आबकारी आयुक्त (आबकारी विभाग) में आबकारी सिपाही के 100 रिक्त पदों तथा उप आबकारी निरीक्षक के 14 रिक्त पदों पर सीधी भर्ती द्वारा चयन हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र आमन्त्रित किए गए हैं।

Pay Scale:
Abkari Sipahi – Rs 21700-69100 (Level-03).
Sub Abkari Inspector – Rs 29200-92300 (Level-05).

Total Number of Vacancies – 114 Posts
Abkari Sipahi – 100 (GEN-72, EWS-20, SC-04, ST-03, OBC-01)

Sub Abkari Inspector – 14 (GEN-08, EWS-01, SC-03, ST-01, OBC-01)

Age Limit (As on 01.07.2023)
Abkari Sipahi – 18 to 35 years.
Sub Abkari Inspector – 21 to 42 years.
For the posts of Abkari Sipahi and Sub Abkari Inspector, relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – आबकारी सिपाही व उप आबकारी निरीक्षक पद हेतु अभ्यर्थी का माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद्‌ उत्तराखण्ड की इण्टरमीडिएट (12th) परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण या सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त समकक्ष स्तर की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना अनिवार्य है।

अधिमानी अर्हता के रूप में, अन्य बातों के समान होने पर, ऐसे अभ्यर्थी को सीधी भर्ती के मामले में अधिमान दिया जायेगा, जिसने प्रादेशिक सेना में दो वर्ष की न्यूनतम अवधि तक सेवा की हो, या राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर का ‘बी’ प्रमाण-पत्र प्राप्त किया हो।

उत्तराखण्ड समूह ‘ग’ (Group C) के सीधी भर्ती के पदों पर भर्ती हेतु अभ्यर्थी का उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में स्थित किसी सेवायोजन कार्यालय में आवेदन-पत्र प्राप्ति की अंतिम तिथि तक पंजीकरण हुआ हो, या अभ्यर्थी उत्तराखण्ड राज्य का स्थाई निवास प्रमाण-पत्र धारक हो, या अभ्यर्थी के पास उत्तराखण्ड राज्य का स्थाई निवास प्रमाण-पत्र न होने की स्थिति में अभ्यर्थी द्वारा अपनी हाई स्कूल या इण्टरमीडिएट अथवा इसके समकक्ष स्तर की शिक्षा उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में स्थित मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थानों से उत्तीर्ण की गई हो।

Selection Process, Physical and Exam Syllabus

The recruitment process for the post of UKSSSC Abkari Sipahi and Sub Abkari Inspector will be completed in 02 phases. In the first phase, physical tests will be conducted according the prescribed standards. Thereafter, written examination (objective type) will be conducted in the second phase for the candidates declared qualified in physical test.

परिवहन आरक्षी, आबकारी सिपाही तथा उप आबकारी निरीक्षक की शारीरिक माप-जोख एवं दक्षता परीक्षा 11 जनवरी 2024 से राज्य के निम्नलिखित पांच परीक्षण स्थलों में आयोजित की जायेगी:-

1. 31 BN PAC Rudrapur (केवल महिलाओं की शारीरिक दक्षता एवं माप-जोख परीक्षा)
2. 46 BN PAC Rudrapur
3. IRB FIRST Bailpdav Ramnagar Nainital
4. IRB SECOND Jhanjra Dehradun (केवल महिलाओं की शारीरिक दक्षता एवं माप-जोख परीक्षा)
5. 40 BN PAC Haridwar

शारीरिक माप-जोख एवं दक्षता परीक्षा में प्रतिभाग करने वाले समस्त अभ्यर्थी अपने प्रवेश-पत्र दिनांक 07 जनवरी 2024 से आयोग की वेबसाइट से डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं।

The selection process consists of Physical Standard Test (Measurement), Physical Efficiency Test and Written Examination as per the details given below:

Physical Standard Test

Firstly all eligible candidates will have to undergo Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test (for Abkari Sipahi) scheduled to be conducted from 11th Jan 2024. The Physical Standards (Height, Chest and Weight measurement) for the posts of Abkari Sipahi and Sub Abkari Inspector (male and female) are as follows:

Height:
GEN/ SC/ OBC candidates – Male: 167.60 Cms and Female: 152 Cms.
Hill Area candidates – Male: 162.60 Cms and Female: 147 Cms.
ST candidates – Male: 160 Cms and Female: 147 Cms.

Chest (for Male only):
GEN/ SC/ OBC candidates – Un-expanded: 78.80 Cms and Expanded: 83.80 Cms.
Hill Area/ ST candidates – Un-expanded: 76.30 Cms and Expanded: 81.30 Cms.

Weight (for Female only) – Minimum 45 Kgs.

Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, Almora, Pithoragarh, Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal, Champawat, Dehradun (Kalsi & Chakrata) and Nainital (Ramgarh, Bhimtal, Kotabagh, Dhari, Okhalkanda & Betalghat) are under Hill Area of Uttarakhand State.

Physical Efficiency Test

The Physical Efficiency Test for the posts of Abkari Sipahi will be of total 60 Marks and will consist of Race, Long Jump and Cricket ball throw of 20 Marks each. For male/ female physical test items (race, long jump and cricket ball throw) and marks distribution, see the tables below.

Written Examination

After completion of physical tests, all qualified candidates will be issued Admit Card to appear in written examination (100 Marks) scheduled to be conducted on 31st Jan 2024 (अनुमानित तिथि). The written exam will be of 02 Hours duration and will consist of total 100 objective type multiple choice questions (01 mark each).

The question paper for Abkari Sipahi and Sub Abkari Inspector written exam will comprise of questions based on General Hindi, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Studies and Uttarakhand GK. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer marked by candidates. Minimum 45 Marks for GEN/ OBC candidates and 35 Marks for SC/ST candidates will be mandatory to qualify in the written exam.

• Part 1 (General Hindi): 20 Questions (20 Marks)
• Part 2 (General Knowledge and General Studies): 40 Questions (40 Marks)
• Part 3 (Uttarakhand GK): 40 Questions (40 Marks)

For final selection as Abkari Sipahi, the merit list will be prepared in order of performance of candidates in physical tests and written exam. Whereas, for final selection as Sub Abkari Inspector, the merit list will be prepared in order of performance of candidates in written exam only.

Application form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online for the Utarakhand Abkari SI Constable Recruitment through the website sssc.uk.gov.in or uksssc.co.in from 11th Dec to 31st Dec 2023. Carefully follow all the instructions for user registration, application submission and payment of application fee. After successful submission of online application, take a print out of the computer generated application form for record.
