उत्तराखण्ड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग द्वारा पुलिस विभाग में समूह ‘ग’ के अन्तर्गत उप निरीक्षक नागरिक पुलिस के 65 रिक्त पदों, उप निरीक्षक अभिसूचना के 43 रिक्त पदों, प्लाटून कमांडर/ गुल्मनायक (पुरूष) पी.ए.सी/ आई.आर.बी के 89 रिक्त पदों तथा अग्निशमन द्वितीय अधिकारी के 24 रिक्त पदों अर्थात कुल 221 रिक्त पदों पर सीधी भर्ती द्वारा चयन हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र आमन्त्रित किए गये हैं।

Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)

Age Limit – 21 to 29 years as on 01.07.2021. Relaxation of 01 year has been provided in the upper age limit for the selection year 2021-2022 for the Group C posts. Relaxation in upper age for SC, ST, OBC, FF, Ex-Serviceman, Homeguard etc will be applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from any recognized University. Educational qualification for Ex-Serviceman will be Intermediate or its equivalent. In order to apply for direct recruitment of Group C Posts of Uttarakhand Police Sub Inspector, candidate must have passed 10th and 12th or equivalent level of examination from recognized institutions located in Uttarakhand State.

Uttarakhand Police SI Selection Process, Physical and Exam Syllabus

The selection process of Uttarakhand Police Sub Inspector CP/ LIU/ Platoon Commander (Gulmanayak)/ Fire Officer will be completed in 02 phases. In the first phase, candidates will have to go through Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying in nature) and then qualified candidates will be called for written exam (online or offline) in the second phase. The physical/ written exam is scheduled to be conducted in Nov/Dec tentatively.

The selection process will consist of Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Exam, Medical Examination and Character Verification as per the pattern given below:

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Height:
GEN/ OBC/ SC Candidates – Male: 167.7 Cms and Female: 152 Cms
Candidates belonging to Hill Area – Male: 160 Cms and Female: 147 Cms
ST Candidates – Male: 162.6 Cms and Female: 147 Cms

Chest (Only for Male candidates):
GEN/ OBC/ SC Candidates – 78.8-83.8 Cms
Hill Area/ ST Candidates – 76.5-81.5 Cms

Weight (Only for Female candidates): Minimum 45 Kgs

पर्वतीय क्षेत्र का निर्धारण – देहरादून: पूरी चकराता तहसील तथा राजपुर की ऊंचाई से ऊपर गंगा तथा यमुना नदियों के मध्य स्थित देहरादून तहसील के उत्तर तथा पूर्व में स्थित मसूरी पहाड़ी का क्षेत्र। नैनीताल तथा गढ़वाल, कोटद्वार सहित सब माउन्टेन सड़क के ऊपर का क्षेत्र पिथौरागढ़, अल्मोड़ा, चमोली, टिहरी गढ़वाल तथा उत्तरकाशी जिलों के संपूर्ण भाग। नवसृजित जनपद बागेश्वर, रूद्रप्रयाग एवं चंपावत का संपूर्ण भाग भी इससे पूर्व में क्रमशः जनपद अल्मोड़ा, चमोली एवं पिथौरागढ़ का भाग होने के कारण पर्वतीय क्षेत्र माना जायेगा।

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates qualified in Physical Standard Test (Measurement) will be allowed to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The Physical Efficiency Test will be of qualifying nature. The events of Physical Efficiency Test for Male candidates will be Cricket ball throw, Long jump, Chinning-up, Dand-Baithak and Run/race. While, the events of Physical Efficiency Test for Female (Mahila) candidates will be Cricket ball throw, Long jump, Race, Skipping and Shuttle race. The qualifying standards for each event of Physical Efficiency Test will be as per the details below.

Test Events and Qualifying Standards (Male):
Cricket Ball Throw – Minimum 50 Meters
Long Jump – Minimum 13 Feet
Chinning-up – Minimum 05 Times
Run/ Race – 05 Kms (within 30 Minutes)
Dand (Pushups) – 40 (within 02 Minutes 30 Seconds)
Baithak (Squats) – 50 (within 60 Seconds)

Test Events and Qualifying Standards (Female):
Cricket Ball Throw – Minimum 20 Meters
Long Jump – Minimum 08 Feet
Run/ Race – 200 Meters (within 40 Seconds)
Skipping – 60 Times (within 01 Minute)
Shuttle Race (25 x 4 Meters) – Within 29 Seconds

Written Examination

Candidates qualified in Physical tests will be called for an Objective type Written Exam of maximum 100 Marks and 02 Hours time duration. Question Paper for Uttarakhand Police SI Bharti will comprise of questions based on General Hindi, General Knowledge and General Studies (including Uttarakhand GK). There will be negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong answer given by candidates in OMR based exam. Minimum 45% marks for GEN/OBC candidates and minimum 35% marks for SC/ST candidates will be mandatory to qualify in the written exam.

Thereafter, on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in written exam, the merit list will be prepared according the existing reservation rules. In case of candidates having equal marks, the candidate whose age is higher will be placed higher in the order of seniority.

For selection, candidates will be given the option to choose suitable post from Sub Inspector Civil Police, LIU, Platoon Commander (Gulmanayak) and Fire Station Officer at the time of document verification on the basis of the order of merit. Thereafter selected candidates will undergo Medical Examination and Character Verification.

Online Application Form, Important Dates and Notification

Before filling online application, you will have to go through the UKSSSC OTR (One Time Registration) process to apply for the posts of Sub Inspector Civil Police, LIU, Platoon Commander (Gulmanayak) and Fire Station Officer. Keep ready your mobile number, email id, educational details and scanned images of photograph (Max 50 kb), signature (Max 20 kb) and left thumb impression (Max 50 kb) in JPG format for OTR.

Application fee:
Keeping in view the adverse effect on employment and economy due to Covid-19, the Government of Uttarakhand has decided not to charge the application fee till 31.03.2022 to free the applicants from the cost of fee charged for the applications invited for recruitment. In view of the above, the application fee will not be charged from the applicants for the examination.
