Warrant Officer Cipher and Havildar Clerk and Rifleman (Recovery Vehicle Mechanic) – 18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2026.

Educational Qualification:

Rifleman GD, EFS, Lmn, Armour, RVM, EMV, Metalsmith, Mason, SKT, VM and EEM – 10th Pass.
Warrant Officer Cipher and Havildar Clerk – 12th Pass.

Physical Standards (GD):

Height:
GEN/ SC/ OBC Candidates – Male: 170 Cms, Female: 157 Cms and Candidates of NE States (Male: 162.5 Cms and Female: 152.5 Cms).
ST Candidates – Male: 162.5 Cms, Female: 150 Cms and Candidates of NE States (Male: 157 Cms and Female: 147.5 Cms).
Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha etc – Male: 165 Cms and Female: 155 Cms.

Chest (Only for male candidates):
GEN/ SC/ OBC Candidates – 80-85 Cms.
ST Candidates – 76-81 Cms.
Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha etc. category – 78-83 Cms.
Candidates of NE States – 77-82 Cms.

Recruitment Process:

Assam Rifles Relation Rally is scheduled to be organized in Jul/Aug 2026 at Lokhra (Assam). The Selection process will consist of Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test (Skill Test) and Medical Examination. The Trade (Skill) Test will be qualifying in nature and candidates applying under Compassionate Ground (Relation) Recruitment will be exempted from the written exam.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Male candidates – 2.4 Kms run within 12 Minutes.
Female candidates – 1.6 Kms run within 8.30 Minutes.

Send application form complete in all respect along with the following required documents by Post to the “Directorate General Assam Rifles (Recruitment Branch), Laitkor, Shillong, Meghalaya – 793010” so as to reach on or before last date.
