Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 57th Course 2025

Indian Army invited applications for the following 76 Vacancies against NCC Special Entry Scheme 57th Course (Apr 2025) for the grant of Short Service Commission. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates (including wards of battle casualties of Army personnel) can apply online for the NCC Bharti Vacancies through joinindanarmy.nic.in up to 09th Aug 2024. Indian Army NCC Special Entry Recruitment

Total Number of Vacancies – 76 Posts
NCC Men – 70 (General: 63, Wards of Battle Casualties: 07)
NCC Women – 06 (General: 05, Wards of Battle Casualties: 01)

Age Limit – 19 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2025 (including wards of Battle Casualties) i.e. candidate should be born between 02 Jan 2000 and 01 Jan 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification:
For NCC C Certificate Holders – Degree of a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and should have served minimum two/three academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of NCC with minimum ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC. Date of issue of NCC `C’ Certificate should be on or before the date of submission of online application.

For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel – Degree of a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. NCC ‘C’ certificate is not required for Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel.

The vacancies under wards of battle casualties will be available to wards (unmarried sons and unmarried daughters including legally adopted) of Battle casualties specified as:
1. Killed in action.
2. Died of wound or injuries (Other than self-inflicted).
3. Wounded or Injured (Other than self-inflicted).
4. Missing, presumed dead.

NCC Special Entry Selection Procedure

After shortlisting of applications by the Integrated HQ of MoD (Army), the Centre allotment will be intimated to eligible candidates via their email. After allotment of Selection Centre, candidates will have to login to the official website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first come first serve basis initially. Thereafter, dates for SSB will be allotted by the Selection Centres.

Call up letter for SSB interview will be issued by respective Selection Centre through email/sms to shortlisted candidates. Thereafter shortlisted candidates will have to undergo Services Selection Board (SSB) of two stages at Selection Centre Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Jalandhar (PB). Candidates who qualify Stage-I will be allowed to appear for Stage-II. Finally, candidates recommended after Stage-II will be put through medical examination.

Selected candidates will be detailed for Pre-Commission training at OTA Chennai according to their position in the merit up to the number of available vacancies subject to meeting all eligibility criteria. All candidates who successfully complete Pre-Commission training at Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai will be awarded ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management and Strategic Studies’ by the University of Madras.

Online Application form, Documents and Notification

Eligible and desirous candidates can apply online for the Indian Army NCC Special Entry Officer Vacancies up to 09th Aug 2024. You are required to register and submit online applications on the official website joinindanarmy.nic.in. After submission of online application, you are required to takeout two copies of your application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after final closure of online application on last day. There is no need to send any hard copy to Directorate General Recruiting.

Required Documents – Self attested copy of following documents along with originals are to be carried to the Selection Centre by the candidates:

1. One copy of the Print out of application duly signed and affixed with self-attested photograph.
2. Matriculation/ Secondary School Examination Certificate or equivalent certificate and Mark Sheet issued by the concerned Board of Education.
3. 12th Class Certificate and Marks Sheet.
4. Graduation Degree/ Provisional Degree.
5. Marks Sheets of all years/ semesters.
6. NCC ‘C’ Certificate (not required for Wards of Battle Casualties).
7. The ‘Battle Casualty’ certificate (for Wards of Battle Casualties).
8. A copy of Manpower (Policy & Planning) Directorate (MP Dte)/ Respective Regimental Records Part II Order Number (for Wards of Battle Casualties).
9. Relationship Certificate No issued by MP Dte/ Respective Regimental Records (for Wards of Battle Casualties).

Important Dates:
Commencement of registration of online form – 11th Jul 2024 (03.00 PM)
Last date of registration of online form – 09th Aug 2024 (03.00 PM)
