Indian Air Force (IAF) is going to organize Airmen Recruitment rally for eligible male candidates from all the districts of Telangana and UT of Yanam. Recruitment Test for the Group Y Non Technical (Automobile Technician and IAF(P) or Indian Air Force Police) Trade will be conducted at JNTUH College of Engineering, Sultanpur, Sangareddy. Unmarried male candidates from Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Ranga Reddy, Medchal, Vikarabad, Warangal (R), Warangal (U), Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhoopalapally, Mahabubabad & Hyderabad, Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Manchiryala, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Jagitial, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Jogulamba Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Medak, Sangareddy and Siddipet districts of Telangana and UT of Yanam are eligible for this IAF Recruitment Rally.

Age Limit – Candidates should be born between 17 January 2000 and 30 December 2003 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualification – Intermediate/ 12th/ Equivalent examination pass in any stream/ subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR

02 years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational course or in 12th/ 10th if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Physical Standards:

Height – Auto Tech: 165 Cms and IAF(P): 175 Cms
Chest – Minimum 5 Cms expansion
Weight – Proportionate to height and age
Visual Acuity – Auto Tech: 6/12 each eye correctable to 6/6 each eye and IAF(P): Unaided visual acuity of 6/6
Colour Vision – CP-II

Selection Process, Physical and Syllabus

The selection process will consist of Verification of eligibility, Physical fitness test, Written test, Adaptability test-1, Adaptability test-2 and Medical examination.

For selection, Provisional Select List (PSL) will be prepared and the inclusion of candidates in the AISL/ PSL will depend upon their performance in the recruitment rally.

The AISL/ PSL (for Intake 01/2021) will be published at 12 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station Begumpet, Bowenpally, Secunderabad (Telangana) – 500011 on 31 October 2020. The PSL will also be available at Central Airmen Selection Board website airmenselection.cdac.in.

Physical Fitness Test – The PFT will consist of 1.6 Kms Run within 6 Minutes 30 Seconds, 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats.

Selection Programme and Notification

Eligible candidates are required to report for the Recruitment Rally at JNTUH College of Engineering, Sultanpur, Sangareddy (Telangana) on respective dates (17 January and 19 January 2020) between 6 AM – 10 AM with writing materials and required documents as mentioned in the official recruitment rally notice.

17 January 2020 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Written Test
18 January 2020 – Adaptability Test-1 and Adaptability Test-2

Districts – For candidates from Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal, Jogulamba Gadwal, Sangareddy, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Vikarabad, Narayanpet, Jangaon, Suryapet, Siddipet, Medak, Nalgonda, Wanaparthy, Mehbubnagar, Kamareddy and Nagar Kurnool districts of state of Telangana

19 January 2020 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Written Test
20 January 2020 – Adaptability Test-1 and Adaptability Test-2
21 January 2020 – Reserve Day

Writing Materials and Documents Required:

1. HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.

2. Seven un-attested recent (taken not before September 2019) passport size colour photographs (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his Name and Date of Photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.

3. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of Matriculation Passing Certificate (required for Date of Birth verification).

4. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent Examination Passing Certificate and Marks Sheet.

5. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of Domicile Certificate.

6. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of NCC A, B or C Certificate (if applicable).
