Indian Railway Group D Level-1 Posts Recruitment

Pay Scale – Rs 18000 (7th CPC Pay Matrix level 01) plus other allowances.
Age Limit (As on 01-07-2019) – 18 to 33 years i.e. a candidate must be born between 02.07.1986 and 01.07.2001 (relaxation in age as per Govt rules).
Educational Qualification – 10th Pass or ITI or National Apprenticeship Certificate for all Group D posts as Track Maintainer Grade IV and Assistant (Workshop, Bridge, Stores, Loco Shed, Pointsman, Track Machine, Hospital Assistant etc).

Selection and Recruitment Procedure

Recruitment process for the selection of RRB Group D Posts will consist of Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification. Examination Fee:
General/ OBC Category – Rs. 500/-
SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class – Rs. 250/-
The exam fee can be online (Debit Card, Credit Card and Net Banking) or offline (SBI Bank Challan and Post Office Challan).
Fee refund: Rs 400 to General/ OBC Category and Rs 250 to other categories will be refunded (deducting Bank charges) on appearing in CBT.

Online Application Form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the RRB Group D Recruitment Indian Railway Vacancies directly through the link below or through the official website of Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) up to 12.04.2019. Candidates can apply to only one Railway. Application to more than one Railway, will lead to rejection of all the applications. Keep ready a valid Email ID, mobile number, educational qualification details and scanned copies of color photograph & SC/ST Certificate before filling online application form.

To apply online for the RRB CEN 01/2019 (Level 1 or Group D Posts), follow the important steps below:

Registration – Firstly go to the New Registration Page and select your RRB to which you want to apply. Submit the Registration form with the required details (Name, Date of Birth, Aadhar number, Father’s name, Mother’s Name, 10th/ ITI Certificate number, year of passing 10th/ ITI, mobile number and email-id). Then note down and preserve the registration number and password for further requirements.

Application form (Part 1) – Now go to the Part 1 of application page and provide the details of Educational qualification, Caste, Gender, Religion etc with following the onscreen instructions.

Application form (Part 2) – Finally, provide the details of Scribe (PWD only), details of educational qualification, Choice of Exam language and then upload your color photograph and caste certificate (SC/ST) in JPEG or JPG format. Thereafter pay the application fee (online or offline). After successful registration of online form, take print out of the online application form for reference and record. Candidates are not required to send printouts of application or certificates or copies to RRBs concerned by post.
