Indian Navy invited applications for enrolment as Officers through the 10+2 BTech Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) commencing in Jan 2025. All 12th pass eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply online for the 04 years degree course under the Indian Navy Officer Vacancies through www.joinindiannavy.gov.in up to 20th Jul 2024. Indian Navy BTech Entry Officer Recruitment
Total Number of Vacancies – 40 Posts
Executive and Technical Branch – 40 Vacancies (maximum of 08 vacancies for women).
Age Limit – 17 to 19½ years i.e. candidate should be born between 02 Jul 2005 and 01 Jan 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification – 10+2/ Senior Secondary Examination pass/ equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM) with minimum 70% aggregate marks in PCM and minimum 50% Marks in English (either in Class 10th or 12th). Candidates appeared for JEE (Main) 2024 exam (for B.E/ B.Tech) are eligible to apply for the entry course.

Physical Standards:
Height – Minimum 157 Cms
Relaxation in Height:
Tribals from Ladakh Region – Minimum 155 Cms
A&N, Lakshadweep and Minicoy Islands – Minimum 155 Cms
Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, Garhwali and Kumaoni – Minimum 152 Cms
Bhutan, Sikkim and North East Regions – Minimum 152 Cms
Weight – Proportionate to height and age.

Indian Navy BTech Entry Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for Services Selection Board (SSB) on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2024 published by NTA. Information about the selection for SSB interview along with SSB date will be intimated via Email/SMS to shortlisted candidates. Thereafter shortlisted candidates will undergo SSB interview in two Stages at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from September 2024 onwards.
Candidates qualified in SSB and Medical Exam will be selected for training (04 years B.Tech Degree course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala) in the order of All India Merit (as per SSB marks) depending on the number of vacancies.
The candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the 04 years B.Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering as per Naval requirements. On completion of the course, B.Tech Degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Distribution of cadets amongst Executive, Education, Engineering, Electrical & Electrical Branch (Technical Branch) will be as per the extant policy.

Application form, Important Dates and Notification
Eligible and desirous candidates can apply online for the Indian Navy BTech Entry 10+2 Officer Recruitment through the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in up to 20th Jul 2024. Before applying online, keep ready scanned copy of passport size color photograph, 10th Mark sheet, 12th Mark sheet and JEE Main 2023 Scorecard (indicating CRL) in JPG/TIFF format to upload with the application form.
After successful submission of online form, take a copy of the system generated application form. You’ll have to carry it along with original certificates/ documents at the time of SSB Interview.

Required Documents – All relevant documents (in original), Date of birth proof (as per 10th/ 12th certificates), 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet, JEE (Main)-2024 scorecard (indicating Common Rank List) and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/ TIFF format, for uploading while filling up the online application.
