Army Public School Ranikhet Recruitment 2026-2027
Teaching and Non-Teaching posts of PGT, TGT, Physical Education Teacher (PET), PRT, Computer Operator, Taekwondo Coach, Lab Attendant, Peon/ Chokidar, Mali, Guard and Safaiwala are filled by Army Public School Ranikhet time to time as per requirements. Currently APS Ranikhet advertised for the following vacant positions:
1. PGT (Physics)
2. TGTs (Computer Science, Librarian and Health Wellness Teacher/ Counsellor)
3. PRT (All subjects)
4. Balvatika Teacher
Age Limit (As on 01st Apr 2026):
Fresh candidates (no experience) – Below 40 Years.
Experienced candidates (minimum 05 years experience) – 40 to 57 Years.
Educational Qualification:
PGT – Master Degree in concerned subject with 50%, BEd from a Recognized University and should have passed Online Screening Exam conducted by AWES with minimum 70 percentile/ in possession of a valid Score Card. OR Master Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in concerned subject alongwith BEd from a recognized University.
TGT – Graduate in concerned subject with 50% and in aggregate, BEd from a recognized University and should have passed Online Screening Exam conducted by AWES with minimum 70 percentile/ in possession of a valid Score Card. OR Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in aggregate with BEd from a recognized University. Candidate should be CTET/TET qualified.
TGT Computer Science – BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/ BTech (Computer Science/ IT) or Graduation in any subject and A level course from DOEACC and should have passed Online Screening Test conducted by AWES with BEd from a recognized University. Candidate should be CTET/TET qualified.

TGT Physical Education Teacher – Candidate should have passed Online Screening Exam conducted by AWES with minimum 70 percentile/ in possession of a valid Score Card or Graduate in Physical Education or B.P.Ed.
Health Wellness Teacher (Counsellor TGT Grade) – Postgraduate in Psychology OR Graduate in Psychology with Certificate/ Diploma in Counselling with minimum experience of 03 years as Counsellor/ Wellness Teacher.
Librarian (TGT Grade) – Bachelors in Lib and Information Science or Graduate with diploma in Library Science from a recognized institute and computer literate with minimum three years experience.
Music Teacher (PRT Grade) – MA (Music) or M.Music from any recognized University.
Primary Teacher (PRT) – Should have qualified in Part A of the Online Screening Exam conducted by AWES and in possession of a valid Score Card OR Graduation with 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd)/ BElEd. Candidates must have qualified CTET/TET.
Computer lab Technician – Minimum 10+2 with one year Diploma in Computer Science and knowledge of Hardware, Peripheral and Networking.
Balvatika Teacher – Passed Senior Secondary (Class XII) with minimum 50% marks and Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/ Pre School Education/ Early Childhood Education Pgme (Diploma in Elementary Education) of minimum two years duration or B.Ed (Nursery) from NCTE recognized Institution.
Pay and Allowances – As per AWES Rules and Regulations.
Note: OST is Not Mandatory for appearing for the interview and evaluation of teaching skill & computer proficiency. However, if the non OST (Online Screen Test) qualified candidates are selected for post of Contractual teachers, the candidate must pass the OST exam in stipulated period with desired score.

Application Form, Interview Date and Notification
Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the Army Public School Ranikhet Teacher Vacancies on the prescribed application form downloaded from the website apsranikhet.in. Submit the application form complete in all respects along with coloured photograph and supporting certificates through Speed Post or By Hand at Army Public School Ranikhet Near Ranikhet Club, Ranikhet, District- Almora (UK) 263645 by 20th Apr 2026.
No Application will be accepted via e-mail. Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of Army Public School Ranikhet/ Online payment is required to be submitted by the candidates at the time of Registration on the date of interview.
Shortlisted eligible candidates will be intimated through mail/ telephonically to appear in interview at Army Public School Ranikhet (Uttarakhand).
Candidates will have to appear for Teaching Skill Test and Computer Efficiency Test on the date of interview. Language Teachers will appear in a written test for assessment of their writing skills along with interview. Proficiency in teaching in English medium and knowledge of Computer Application is desirable.
