Army Public School Birpur Recruitment
The vacancies of PGT (English & Psychology), TGT (English, Maths, Social Science, Science & Hindi/Sanskrit), PRT (All Subject & PET), Non-Teaching Staff and Administrative Staf released by APS Birpur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand are as follows:
Adhoc (from 01 Jul 2026 till end of Academic Session):
1. PGT – English and Psychology.
2. TGT – English, Maths, Social Science, Science & Hindi/Sanskrit (capable to teach both Hindi and Sanskrit).
3. PRT – All Subject and PET.
Adhoc (from 01 Jun 2026 till end of Academic Session)/ Term Based for (04 Academic Sessions):
1. Non-Teaching Staff – Health & Wellness Teacher (Counsellor) TGT-Grade, IT Supervisor, Computer Lab Tech and Science Lab Assistant (Chemistry & Biology).
2. Administrative Staff – Head Clerk, Accountant, Administrative Supervisor UDC, Account Clerk, LDC, Receptionist, Infirmary Nurse and Driver.

Age Limit:
Fresh candidates (No teaching experience) – Maximum 40 Years as on 01.04.2026.
Experienced candidates (Minimum 05 years teaching experience in last 10 years) – 40 to 55 Years as on 01.04.2026.
Educational Qualification:
PGT – Two years Integrated Post Graduate MA/MSc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks; OR Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated BEd/MEd; OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in respective subject. BEd or equivalent degree from a recognized university with knowledge of Computer Application.
TGT – Four years Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated BEd/MEd; OR Bachelor Degree with at least 50 % marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.
B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University and Pass in CTET/ UTET with proficiency in teaching in English medium. Knowledge of Computer Application is desirable.
PRT – Graduate holding Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. BElEd/ 02-year DElEd OR BEd/ Integrated BEd with fulfilment of the condition of six-month PDPET/ Bridge Course from an NCTE recognized institute. CTET/ UTET with proficiency in teaching in English medium. Knowledge of Computer Application is desirable.
PRT (PET) – Bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective subject with 50% marks; or Bachelor’s degree with physical Education as an elective subject with 45 % marks and participation in National or State or Inter University competition in sports or games or athletics recognized by Association of Indian University or Indian Olympics Association; Or equivalent qualification.

Health Wellness Teacher (Counsellor) – Graduate with Psychology with a Certificate or Diploma in Counselling with minimum experience of three years as Wellness Teacher/ Counsellor.
IT Supervisor – Advance Diploma or Diploma in Computing & Hardware with knowledge in at least two of the following- (1) Networking and LAN Administration (2) Operating Systems (3) RDBMS with programming. Proficiency in one language.
Computer Laboratory Technician – Minimum 10+2 with one year Diploma in Computer Science and knowledge of Hardware, Peripheral and Networking.
Science Laboratory Attendant – 10+2 with Science and computer literate.
Head Clerk – Preferably an ex-servicemen of clerk category upto the age of 55 years. 5-10 years’ experience in Office Management, account handling as Head Clerk with high proficiency in staff duties and drafting experience. Minimum Graduate in case of civilian.
Administrative Supervisor – Should be retired JCO/Hony Rank having administrative experience. Should be of age less than 55 years at the time of joining. For ESM, it should be 57 yrs. Should be security course qualified and computer savvy. Should have basic knowledge of Handling of Master ledger of stores, Stores, Eqpt Maintenance and Man Management.
Accountant – Commerce Graduate or fifteen years’ service as a clerk in the Defence Services. Basic computer application course of Army/ Diploma in Computer Applications of not less than one year duration. Knowledge of double entry system of accounting, excel sheet and accounting software. Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Accounts Clerk in the Defence Services/ reputed organization.
UDC/ Account Clerk – BCom or fifteen years of service as a clerk (for Ex-servicemen). Computer literate (MS Office, Tally etc), Computer Savvy (12000 key depressions per hour) and knowledge of relevant software applications used by schools. 5 years’ experience as a clerk or an accounts clerk in a reputed organisation, preferably in school.
LDC and Receptionist – Graduate or ten years of service as a clerk (for experience). Computer literate with knowledge of Computer MS Office (Sped 120000 key depressions per hour) and basic knowledge of accounting.
Infirmary Nurse – 10+2 and diploma in nursing with minimum five years of experience. A female Paramedic should be given preference.
