Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) invites applications for filling up the following 16 Vacancies of Veterinary Pharmacy Officer in Govt Veterinary Hospitals. Veterinary Pharmacy Officer Recruitment

Pay Scale – Rs 35400-112400 Pay level-6 (Old scale Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200).

Age Limit – 18 to 42 Years as on 01st Jul 2025. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – 12th Pass with Science subject from Uttarakhand/ Uttar Pradesh Board or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. The candidate should be a diploma holder in Pharmacy (Allopathy) from a recognized institution.

In addition, high school qualification holders before the implementation of Education Regulation 1991 for Diploma Course in Pharmacy (amended by Education Amendment Regulations, 1994) of Pharmacy Council of India in the state of Uttarakhand will also be eligible.

Other Mandatory Qualifications – It is also mandatory for the candidate to fulfill the following qualifications for application:

1. At the time of application, it is mandatory for the candidate to be registered with the Registrar, Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council.
2. At the time of application, the candidate must be registered with any employment office located in the state of Uttarakhand.
3. Only those candidates will be eligible for application who have passed their high school and intermediate or equivalent level education from recognized institutions located in the state of Uttarakhand.

Preferential Qualification – Other things being equal, preference will be given in case of direct recruitment to such candidate who has obtained “B Certificate” of National Cadet Corps OR has minimum 02 years service experience in Territorial Army.

If the preferential qualification is also equal, the date of birth of the respective candidates, whichever is earlier, will be placed higher in the merit list.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates will be done according to the provisions of the Uttarakhand Veterinary Pharmacist Service Manual 2010 and Uttarakhand Veterinary Pharmacist Service (Amendment) Rules 2011. According to these provisions, the selection committee will prepare the list of candidates diploma year wise on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the diploma exam.

Send application form complete in all respect along with attested copies of all required documents by Registered Post/ Speed Post to “The Director, Department of Animal Husbandry, Uttarakhand, “Administrative Building” Mothrowala, PO Mothrowala, Dehradun” so as to reach on or before the last date.

Envelope containing application must be superscribed in bold letters as “Application for the post of Veterinary Pharmacy Officer”.

Required Documents – Attach the attested copies of academic/ technical qualification certificates and marks sheets, preferential qualification, date of birth certificate, caste certificate, Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council registration certificate and Employment Office registration certificate. All the certificates must be valid on the last date of submission of application form.

UR/ OBC Category – Rs 300/-
SC/ ST/ EWS Category – Rs 150/-

It will be mandatory to deposit the application fee online through IFMS PORTAL (E-challan) in the Departmental Revenue Account Head 0403-00-800-99-00 and attach the attested copy of the challan with the application form.
