Indian Air Force (IAF) Airmen Recruitment rally for eligible unmarried candidates from the districts of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) State will be held at Air Force Station Leh, Leh (Jammu and Kashmir). The Recruitment Rally will be conducted for Group X (Technical) Trades and Group Y (Non-Technical) Trades. Group X (Technical) Trades:

Districts – Leh and Kargil districts
18 July 2015 – Written Test, Adaptability Test & Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
19 July 2015 – Interview and Medical examination of candidates passed on 18 July 2015

Group Y (Non-Technical) Trades:

Districts – Leh and Kargil districts
20 July 2015 – Written Test, Adaptability Test & Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
21 July 2015 – Interview and Medical examination of candidates passed on 20 July 2015

Age Limit – Candidates should be born between 01 February 1996 to 31 May 1999 (both days inclusive). Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.

Educational Qualification:

Group X (Technical) Trades – Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination pass with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR Passed 3 years Diploma Course in Engineering from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks.

Group Y (Non-Technical) Trades – Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination pass in any stream/subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR Passed 2 Years Vocational Course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Selection and Recruitment Process:

The selection process will consist of Verification of eligibility, Written test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Interview and Medical Examination. For Selection, All India Select List (AISL) will be prepared and the inclusion of candidates in the AISL depends upon their performance in the recruitment rally.
