ITBP Animal Transport Recruitment 115 Constable 2024-2025

Indo Tibetan Border Police Force invited applications for filling up the following 115 Vacancies of Constable (Animal Transport) or CT (AT) by direct recruitment. All eligible male and female candidates can apply online for the ITBP Animal Transport Bharti Vacancies through recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in up to 29th Sep 2024. ITBP Constable (Animal Transport) Recruitment

Pay Scale and Allowances – Rs 21700-69100 (as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-3) plus allowances.

Post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Special Compensatory Allowance (while posted in specified border areas), free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Free Medical Facilities and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules.

Age Limit – 18 to 25 years as on 10th Sep 2024 i.e. candidate should be born between 11 Sep 1999 and 10 Sep 2006 (both dates inclusive). Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and other categories will be applicable as per Central Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.

Total Number of Vacancies – 115 Posts (Group C)

EWS Category: 12 Vacancies (Male-10, Female-02)
SC Category: 13 Vacancies (Male-11, Female-02)

Animal Transport Selection Process, PET PST and Exam Pattern

Eligible candidates will be issued Admit cards to appear in the recruitment tests. The date, time and place of recruitment test will be indicated in Admit card (Call letter). ITBP Animal Transport selection process consists of Biometric Identification, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Exam, Verification of Original Documents and Medical Examination.

The candidate will be selected on the basis of category wise merit lists prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in the written test.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The PET events are as follows:

Run / Race:
Male candidates – 1.6 Kms within 07 Minutes 30 Seconds.
Female candidates – 800 Meters within 04 Minutes 45 Seconds.

Long Jump:
Male candidates – 11 Feet (03 chances).
Female candidates – 09 Feet (03 chances).

High Jump:
Male candidates – 3½ Feet (03 chances).
Female candidates – 3 Feet (03 chances).

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Physical measurements (Height, Chest and Weight) for various categories are as follows:

Height:
Gen/ SC/ OBC Category: Male-170 Cms and Female-157 Cms.
Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates from Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, UT Jammu & Kashmir and UT Ladakh: Male-165 Cms and Female-155 Cms.
ST Category: Male-162.5 Cms and Female-150 Cms.

Chest (Only for Male candidates):
Gen/SC/OBC Category: 80-85 Cms.
Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates from Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, UT Jammu & Kashmir and UT Ladakh: 78-83 Cms.
ST Category – 76-81 Cms.

Weight (for Male and Female): Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Written Examination

Candidates qualified in PET/PST will be called for written examination. The written exam (OMR Based or Computer Based Test) will be of 02 Hours duration and will consist of total 100 objective type questions (01 mark each). Cut off marks for qualifying in written exam will be 35% for UR/ EWS/ OBC/ Ex-Servicemen and 33% for SC/ ST candidates.

The ITBP Animal Transport Question paper will comprise of questions based on:

• General Awareness/ General Knowledge: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
• Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
• Analytical Aptitude and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
• Basic knowledge in English/ Hindi: 25 Questions (25 Marks)

Documents Verification

Candidates shortlisted in order of merit in written exam will be put through checking of original documents. The following documents/ certificates (original with photocopies) will be verified at the time of documentation:

1. Educational Certificates.
2. Date of Birth Certificate (10th mark sheet/ certificate).
3. SC/ST Certificate in prescribed format (as applicable).
4. EWS Certificate in prescribed format (if applicable).
5. Domicile Certificate or PAN Card or Aadhar Card or Driving License or Voter Card for verification of citizenship.
6. Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Serviceman).
7. Height/ Chest relaxation certificate in prescribed format (if applicable).
8. No Objection Certificate (for serving candidates).
9. Four latest passport size photographs.

Finally, candidates qualified in all the above tests will have to go through Detailed Medical Examination (DME) to assess their fitness as per the Medical Standards. Candidates declared unfit during DME will be allowed to undergo Review Medical Examination (RME).

Eligible and interested candidates are required to register and submit online form for the ITBP Animal Transport Recruitment Constable Vacancies through the website recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in up to 29th September 2024 (revised).

To apply online for the ITBP Animal Transport Recruitment, firstly go through the One-time Registration process (if not registered already). Then login to ITBP Recruitment website using the registered E-mail ID & Password and complete your profile with filling all the required information and uploading your latest photograph (30 kb – 100 kb) and signature (15 kb – 30 kb) in JPEG/ JPG format.

For submitting ITBP Constable (Animal Transport) Application form, open Apply link under the live applications on your dashboard and re-check the pre-filled application form details or change the details as required and then pay the application fee (if applicable).

Finally, take a printout of the submitted form for further requirements (at the time of PET/PST).

Application fee:
The candidates belonging to UR, EWS and OBC Category are required to pay Rs 100/- as application fee. The application fee can be paid online by using Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
