CRPF HC LDCE Recruitment Exam for 1412 Vacancies 2020

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) invited applications for filling up the following 1412 Vacancies of Head Constable (HC GD) through Limited Departmental Competitive Exam (LDCE). All eligible male and female constables (GD/ Bugler/ Mali/ Painter) can apply for the HC/GD LDCE Vacancies in the prescribed application form downloaded from www.crpf.gov.in. CRPF HC LDCE Eligibility, Physical and Exam Pattern

Pay Scale – Rs 25500-81100 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-4 plus allowances like DA, HRA, CCA and other allowances.
Total Number of Vacancies – 1412 Posts
Male – 1331 Vacancies (Gen-1031, SC-200, ST-100)
Female – 81 Vacancies (Gen-63, SC-12, ST-06)
Note: The vacancies may increase or decrease by the CRPF at any stage.

HC LDCE Age, Qualification and Service Eligibility

Age Limit – Maximum 32 years as on 01.08.2019
Educational Qualification – 12th Pass (10+2) from any Board or University recognized by the Central/ State Government.
Service Eligibility – Constable (GD/ Bugler/ Mali/ Painter) with 04 years regular service including basic training in the respective trade as on closing date of application are eligible to apply for the CRPF HC/GD LDCE Exam. The candidates must have good ACRs for last 04 years and should have unblemished service record till the issue of offer of appointment for HC LDCE.
Candidates having more than 04 years of service will be considered for weight-age of marks (at the time of drawing merit list for selection) as follows:

• Upto 04 Years – No Marks
• 04 to 05 Years – 04 Marks
• 05 to 06 Years – 08 Marks
• 06 to 07 Years – 12 Marks
• 07 to 08 Years – 16 Marks
• Above 08 Years – 20 Marks

HC LDCE Selection Process, Written Exam and PST PET

CRPF HC LDCE selection process will consist of Stage 1 (Written examination), Stage 2 (Physical measurement/ PST), Stage 3 (Physical efficiency test/ PET), Stage 4 (Checking of testimonials) and Stage 5 (Detailed medical examination) as per the pattern below:-

HC (GD) LDCE Written Exam:
Firstly candidates will be called to appear in OMR based written exam (10+2 pass standard) scheduled to be held on 19 April 2020 at GC CRPF Kootah, Sonipat, SNR, Amethi, BBSR, Guwahati, Imphal, Avadi and Nagpur exam centers. The question paper will be of 03 Hours duration and will comprise of 160 objective type multiple choice questions (maximum 160 Marks) based on General Intelligence, Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Professional Knowledge, Language Comprehension and Communication Skill. The cut off percentage of marks or Qualifying marks will be 45% in each part and 50% in aggregate (relaxation of 5% for SC/ ST candidates).

• General Intelligence, Awareness, Reasoning and Numerical Ability – 60 Questions (60 Marks)
• Professional Knowledge – 70 Questions (70 Marks)
• Language Comprehension and Communication Skill – 30 Questions (30 Marks)

Physical Measurement (PST) – Candidates qualified in written exam will be allowed to appear for the Physical measurement as per the Physical Standards (Height, Chest and Weight) below.

General Candidates: Male-170 Cms, Female-157 Cms
Garwalies, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates from Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir: Male-165 Cms, Female-155 Cms
ST Candidates: Male-162.5 Cms, Female-150 Cms
Chest (Only for Male candidates):
General Candidates: Unexpanded-80 Cms, Expanded-85 Cms
Garwalies, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates from Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir: Unexpanded-78 Cms, Expanded-83 Cms
ST Candidates: Unexpanded-76 Cms, Expanded-81 Cms
Weight (for Male and Female candidates): Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Candidates qualified in Physical measurement/ PST test will be allowed to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of qualifying in nature. PET events (Race, Long Jump and High Jump) will be conducted as follows:-
Run / Race:
Male candidates – 100 Meters within 16 Seconds and 1.6 Kms within 06 Minutes 30 Seconds
Female candidates – 100 Meters within 18 Seconds and 800 Meters within 04 Minutes
Long Jump:
Male candidates – 12 Feet in 03 chances
Female candidates – 09 Feet in 03 chances
High Jump:
Male candidates – 3.9 Feet in 03 chances
Female candidates – 3 Feet in 03 chances

Candidates qualified in Written exam, PST and PET will be called for the Checking of testimonials by the recruitment board. While screening of documents, candidates having achievement in Courses (HCPC, PT, Un-armed combat course & TOT) and Sports (Shooting, Judo, Karate, Gymnastic, Boxing & Wrestling) will be given weight-age marks. Final selection of candidates for HC/GD LDCE will be made according to merit and availability of vacancies subject to declared fit in the medical examination.

Submit application form complete in all respect along with 02 self-addressed envelopes affixing postal stamp for Rs 25/- on each, 04 passport size photographs, admit card for written exam, PST, PET & DME and attested copies of required documents as educational mark sheets & certificates (10th/ 12th/ Degree), SC/ST/ Hill certificate, NOC etc to the concerned Unit/ Office before the last date.
