130 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Ecological, Kumaon is going to organize a recruitment rally for Soldier GD, Clerk and Tradesmen posts at Pithoragarh from 03 to 08 Aug 2026. The Recruitment Rally of 130 Infantry Battalion (TA) Eco Kumaon will be held at Devkatiya Ground, Pithoragarh instead of Battalion Headquarters, Pithoragarh from 03 Aug to 08 Aug 2026 at 06:00 AM as per the schedule given below:

The recruitment rally for Soldier GD trade will be conducted only for eligible candidates of Uttarakhand. Whereas for the remaining trades i.e. Soldier Tradesman and Soldier Clerk, the recruitment rally will be conducted on All India Basis.
Pay and Allowances
Basic pay and Dearness Allowance: All enrolled personnel will be entitled to basic pay of their rank and service group, in which they are employed in the unit. Dearness allowance as admissible from time to time will also be applicable.
Other Allowances: Other allowance like Children education allowance, Hill Compensatory allowance, House rent allowance and Road mileage allowance etc, will be admissible.
Annual increment and gratuity will not be admissible to Ex-Servicemen and Ex-women employees (including premature retiree). 30 days annual leave and 15 days casual leave is authorised for part time staff.

Eligibility Criteria for ESM and Ex-Women
Age:
Ex-Servicemen – No minimum age for Ex-Servicemen however, should get enrolled within five years from date of retirement/ discharge.
Ex-Women Employees – No minimum age limit for ex-women employees (including premature retiree) of Ministry of Environmental Forest and Climate Control (MoEF&CC) and State Forest Department, Uttarakhand, however should get enrolled within five years from date of retirement/ discharge.
Qualification: Ex-Servicemen (Pension holder only) or Ex-women employees (including premature retiree with minimum 20 years of service) of Ministry of Environmental Forest and Climate Control (MoEF&CC) and State Forest Department, Uttarakhand.
Medical and Physical Standards:
Medical Category – SHAPE-I
Height – 160 cm (152 cms in case of Gorkhas & Garhwalis). 150 cm for Ex-women employees of MoEF & CC and State Forest Department.
Chest – 82 cm (Minimum expansion 05 cm) for male. Women should be capable of chest expansion of 05 cm.
Weight – Minimum 50 Kgs for male and 42 Kgs for female.
Character – Exemplary/ Very Good

Terms & Conditions of Service and Facilities
The newly enrolled TA personnel will be governed by the following conditions of service:
1. The embodied service will be restricted for 08 months in a year which is also dictated and subject to requirement by funding agencies.
2. Ex-servicemen and Ex-women employees (including premature retiree) of MoEF & CC and State Forest Department, except Junior Commissioned Officers on recruitment, will be enrolled as Sepoy similarly, Ex-JCO and Class II or equivalent Ex-women employees of MoEF&CC and State Forest Department will be enrolled in the rank of Naib Subedar.
3. Ex-Servicemen and Ex-women employees enrolled as Other Rank (OR) will serve only upto 50 years of age.
4. Ex-JCO (Junior Commissioned Officers) and Class-II or equivalent Ex-women employees can serve upto 55 years of age.
5. The period of enrolment of enrolled persons will be 02 years commencing on and from the date of enrolment of service in Infantry Battalions (TA) Ecological unit and may be extended 01 year at a time, subject to satisfactory performance and suitability for further retention in service.

Recruitment Process and Required Documents
Ex-Servicemen: The physical fitness test will include 1.6 km run, pull-ups, 9 ft ditch and balance, as per age. Candidates shortlisted in PFT will undergo medical test and interview.
Ex-Women Employees (MoEF & CC and SFD): Interview by BOO, proficiency test in afforestation related activity & nursery management by BOO and medical examination.
Enrollment will be purely based on merit and available vacancies.

6. Eight colour photographs in passport size
Documents Required for Ex-Women Employee:

Online Registration Form and Notification
Eligible and interested candidates have to submit online registration form through official website www.130ta.com to participate in 130 Inf Bn (TA) Eco Kumaon Recruitment Rally. All the candidates have to take a printout of their online registration form after verification and then participate in the recruitment rally.
For online registration, you need to upload clear and legible scanned copies of your photo and required documents.
After submitting the application form, it may take up to 03 working days for your online form to be verified and accepted. You can check the progress of your application status using your mobile number registered on the website.
If your form is accepted, you will get the option to print your registered form. If your form gets rejected, you can fill a new form with correct details and documents.
Candidates who are unable to register online due to technical or any other issue can also report for the recruitment rally on 03 August 2026 at 0600 hrs along with the required documents.
The Recruitment Rally for 130 Infantry Battalion (TA) Eco Kumaon will be held from 03 August to 08 August 2026 from 6 AM onwards at Devkatiya Ground Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand).
