PM SHRI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Tarikhet (Almora) has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of Yoga Trainer, Sports Teacher/ Coach, Atal Tinkering Lab Facilitator, Dance/ Music Expert and Self Defense Trainer for Girls. JNV Tarikhet (Almora) Recruitment
Walk-in interview is being conducted on 30th June at 10.00 AM at PM SHRI School JNV Tarikhet (Almora) for the following temporary appointment of Teachers/ Experts for 2026-2027 under PM SHRI Project. This includes 02 vacancies for the post of Sports Teacher/Coach, while the number of vacancies for all other posts is limited to 01 each.

1. Yoga Trainer (Preferably Female)
Qualification – Graduate (Yoga)/ Diploma in Yoga/ BPEd/ MPEd with Yoga Specialization from any recognized University/ Institute.
Remuneration – Rs 12500/- pm (for 08 months)
Duty Modalities – 03 Session per week/ Total 12 session in a Month.
2. Sports Teacher/ Coach
Qualification – BPEd and Expert in (Volleyball/ Basketball/ Kabaddi/ Handball/ Kho-Kho/ Chess)
Remuneration – Rs 20000/- pm (for 06 months)
Duty Modalities – 04 Session in a week x 04 weeks-16 session in a month, Rs. 1250 per session.
3. Self Defence Trainer (Female)
Qualification – Expert in Taekwondo/ Judo/ Karate with relevant Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate Course with specialization in concerned subject from any recognized University/ Institute.
Remuneration – Rs 12500/- pm (for 08 months)
Duty Modalities – Training programme should be conducted 04 times in a month, for all girls students class 6th to 12th.
4. Atal Tinkering Lab Facilitator
Qualification – BE/ BTech/ MSc in Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum of 01 year of experience in a reputed institution in the field of Innovation, Robotics, STEM, Artificial Intelligence etc.
Remuneration – Rs 30000/- pm (for 10 months)
Duty Modalities – As per NVS Guidelines.
5. Art & Culture Programme (Dance Expert)
Qualification – Certificate/ Diploma/ Degre in Indian Classical/ Folk/ Modern Dance/ Local/ Traditional with performance experience etc. Specialization in Kathak Dance/ Bharatanatyam/ Kuchipudi. Priority will be given on the basis of experience.
Remuneration – Rs 25000/- pm (for 06 months).
Duty Modalities – 06 Session per week per teacher (02 classes each for 6th, 7th & 8th) 04 weeks 24 session in a month.
6. Art & Culture Programme (Music Expert)
Qualification – Skilled in Instruments like Guitar, Tabla, Keyboard Congo, Flute, Harmonium etc. and Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Music with professional experience etc. Priority will be given on the basis of experience.
Remuneration – Rs 25000/- pm (for 06 months).
Duty Modalities – 06 Session per week per teacher (02 classes each for 6th, 7th & 8th) 04 weeks 24 session in a month.

Age Limit (All Posts) – Maximum age limit is 50 years.
The number of vacancies for all the above posts may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the school. Staff quarters will be allotted only if accommodation is available within the campus; otherwise, you will have to arrange for outside accommodation at your own expense.
