Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhimtal Recruitment 2026-2027
PGT (Hindi, English, Commerce, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and Computer Science)
Qualification: 02 years’ Integrated Post Graduate MSc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subjects below. Candidate should have B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognized university and Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
PGT (English) – English.
PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
PGT (Maths) – Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics.
PGT (Physics) – Physics/ Electronics/ Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
PGT (Chemistry) – Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry.
PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Bio Technology/ Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
PGT (History) – History.
PGT (Geography) – Geography.
PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degrees of M.Com in Applied/ Business Economics shall not be eligible.
PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.
PGT (Computer Science) – B.E or B.Tech (CS/ IT)/ B.E or B.Tech (Any stream) & Post Graduate Diploma in Computers/ M.Sc (CS)/ MCA/ B.Sc (CS)/ BCA & PG Degree OR equivalent.

TGT (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Science, Social Science and Maths)
Qualification: 04 years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
Combination of subjects for TGTs are as follows:
TGT (Sanskrit) – Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
TGT (Hindi) – Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
TGT (English) – English as a subject in all the three years.
TGT (Social Science) – Any two of the subjects: History, Geography, Economics and Political Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
TGT (Mathematics) – Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
TGT (Science) – Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
Primary Teacher (PRT)
Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks and 02 year Diploma in Elementary
Education (DElEd) or 02 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). The candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and should have the ability to teach in Hindi and English medium.
Computer Instructor
Qualification: B.E (CS/ IT)/ B.Tech (CS/ IT)/ BCA/ PGDCA/ MCA/ M.Sc (CS/ IT)/ B.Sc (CS/ IT) OR B.Sc (Maths/ Science) with ‘A’ Level DOEACC OR PG (Math/ Science) with ‘O’ Level DOEACC Society.
Special Educator
Qualification: Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed (General) with 01 or 02 years Diploma in Special Education or B.Ed (General) with PG Professional Diploma/ Certificate in Special Education (PGPD/ PGPC) or PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation/ Multiple Disability, Physical & Neurological/ Locomotor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy) OR Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCT.
Sports Coach
Qualification: Diploma in Coaching (09 Months/ 02 Years)/ Senior National (Official) Participation/ Junior National Position Holder in respective sports. Trained and experience (preferably with NIS or SAI background) will be preferred.
Yoga Instructor
Qualification: Graduate in Yogic Sciences (3-Years)/ PG in Yoga Sciences (2-Years)/ PG Diploma in Yoga Science (1-Year).
Counsellor
Qualification: Post Graduate in Psychology and Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. 02 years experience in guidance and counselling is desirable.
Staff Nurse
Qualification: Regular Diploma/ Degree in Nursing from recognized Institute and registration with Nursing Council (State/ Govt of India).
Balvatika Teacher
Qualification: 12th Pass (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks and Diploma in Nursery Teacher education/ Pre School Education/ Early childhood education program (D.E.C.Ed.) of duration not less than 02 years or B.Ed (Nursery) from NCTE Recognized Institution.
Age limit (All Posts) – 18 to 65 years as on 31st Mar 2026.
Remuneration – As per KVS norms.

Application Form and Interview Notification
Eligible and interested candidates will have to attend the interview with duly filled application or biodata form (download link is given below), photocopies of essential mark sheets/ certificates, original mark sheets/ certificates and two passport size photograph at the Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhimtal (Uttarakhand) premises on respective dates below. Registration will be done from 8 AM to 9 AM on the date of interview.
