Staff Selection Commission invited applications for the following 25487 Vacancies of Constable General Duty (CT GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB & SSF and Rifleman GD in Assam Rifles. All eligible 10th Pass male and female candidates can apply online for the SSC Constable Vacancies through ssc.gov.in from 01 to 31 December 2025. SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2026-2027

कर्मचारी चयन आयोग द्वारा सीमा सुरक्षा बल (BSF), केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल (CISF), केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (CRPF), भारत तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (ITBP), सशस्त्र सीमा बल (SSB) व सचिवालय सुरक्षा बल (SSF) में कांस्टेबल (GD) और असम राइफल्स (AR) में राइफलमैन (GD) पद हेतु कुल 25487 रिक्त पदों पर सीधी भर्ती द्वारा चयन हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र आमन्त्रित किए गये हैं।

Pay Scale:

Sepoy (NCB) – ₹ 18000 to 56900 (Pay Level-1).
All Other Posts (Constable/Rifleman GD) – ₹ 21700-69100 (Pay Level-3).

Age Limit – 18 to 23 Years as on 01 Jan 2026 i.e. candidate must be born between 02 Jan 2003 and 01 Jan 2008. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Serviceman and other categories will be applicable as per Govt Rules.

Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) from any recognized Board.

Total Number of Vacancies – 25487 Posts (Tentative).

SSC GD Selection Procedure

The recruitment process consists of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of performance in CBE will be called for PST/PET at various centres finalized by the CAPFs.

Application form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online for the SSC GD Bharti Defence Vacancies through the website ssc.gov.in from 01st Dec to 31st Dec 2025. Before registration of online form, keep ready Mobile number, valid Email ID, Aadhaar Number and scanned copy of passport size photograph (20 to 50 Kb) and signature (10 to 20 Kb) in JPEG format.

To apply online for SSC GD Bharti, follow the important instructions below:

Part 1 (Registration) – Firstly go to the SSC One-time Registration (New Candidate) page and enter the required details as Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Date of Birth, Educational details, Mobile number, Email ID, Identification Mark, Address etc.

After submitting all the required details, different OTPs will be sent on your mobile number and Email ID for verification. You will have to enter the respective OTPs to complete the SSC One Time Registration (OTR) process. Note down and preserve your Registration number and Password for further requirements and to apply for any recruitment conducted by SSC.

Part 2 (Online Application form) – To submit the online application form, go to SSC login page and login using your Registration Number and Password (as created in Part 1).

On your profile dashboard, open ‘Apply’ link in the ‘Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2026’ section under Latest Notifications tab.

Choose exam centres and preference for all the three centers, provide your preference of CAPFs/ Organizations, upload your Photograph & Signature and then pay the application fee (if applicable) through online mode .

After successful submission of online form, take printout of the system generated application form for future reference (record). The printout of online application form or any other document is not required to send by Post. You can check your application status on your profile dashboard.

Application fee: Rs 100/- (One hundred only).
The application fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit Cards. Fee can be paid through online mode only. SC, ST, Ex-serviceman and Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Important Dates:

• Opening date for registration of online form: 01st Dec 2025
• Last date for registration of online form: 31st Dec 2025 (11 PM)
• Last date for payment of application fee (online): 01st Jan 2026 (11 PM)
• Application form correction: 08th to 10th Jan 2026 (11 PM)
• Date of Computer Based Examination: Feb-Apr 2026 (Tentative)

SSC GD Admit Card – Admit Card for the SSC GD Exam (Computer Based) will not be sent by Post. You will have to download SSC GD Admit Card (Call letter) online through the website of concerned Regional/ Sub Regional Office. Admit Card for PST/ PET, Medical Examination and Document Verification will be issued by CRPF through the official website rect.crpf.gov.in.
