Eligible candidates are invited for the posts of Consultant Geologist and Consultant Associate Geologist under Uttarakhand Disaster Recovery Project (UDRP) for the geological studies of sites for construction of houses in five districts (Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar) of Uttarakhand for two months period which can be extended possibly. Other details like age, qualification, interview date/venue etc are given below:
Age Limit: 21 to 40 years.
Consultant Geologist – 16 posts
Education Qualification: M.Sc Geology/Applied Geology from a recognized University with specialization in Engineering Geology with at least 50% Marks.
Field Experience: Two years geological fieldwork in Himalayan terrain.
Emoluments per Month: Rs 35000 Consolidated, field allowance of Rs 250 per day for the field work.
Consultant Associate Geologist – 16 posts
Education Qualification: M.Sc Geology/Applied Geology from a recognized University with specialization in Engineering Geology with at least 50% Marks.
Emoluments per Month: Rs 25000 Consolidated, field allowance of Rs 250 per day for the field work.
Interview Date & Time: 07th December 2013 at 11 AM
Venue: The Office of Director, Geology and Mining Unit, Directorate of Industries, Uttarakhand, Bhopalpani, P.O. – Badasi, Raipur-Thano Motor Marg, Dehradun.
Eligible and interested applicants may appear for Interview along with their Bio-data annexed with self-attested photocopies of complete educational & experience documents with two passport sized photographs. Applicants are required to bring original documents for verification.
