Indian Air Force (IAF) has scheduled to organize next Airmen recruitment rally for all the 27 districts of Chhattisgarh (CG) State. Recruitment Tests for the Group Y Non-Technical (Automobile Technician and Indian Air Force Police) Trade vacancies will be conducted at Babu Pandhari Rao Kridutt Indoor Stadium, Amma Talab, Dhamtari (Chhattisgarh). Unmarried Male candidates from Dantewada (Dakshin Bastar), Bastar (Jagdalpur), Durg, Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari, Mahasamund, Kanker (Uttar Bastar), Bijapur, Sukma, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Gariyaband, Balod, Baloda Bazar, Balrampur, Bemetara, Bilaspur, Janjgir Champa, Jaspur, Kawardha (Kabirdham), Korba, Koriya, Mungeli, Raigarh, Sarguja and Surajpur districts are eligible for this Recruitment Rally.

Age Limit – Candidates should be born between 19 July 1999 and 01 July 2003 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualification – Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination pass in any stream/ subjects with minimum 50% Marks in aggregate and 50% Marks in English. OR

02 years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational course or in 12th/ 10th if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Physical Standards:

Height – Auto Tech: 165 Cms and IAF(P): 175 Cms
Chest – Minimum 5 Cms expansion
Weight – Proportionate to height and age
Visual Acuity – Auto Tech: 6/12 each eye correctable to 6/6 each eye, IAF(P): Unaided visual acuity of 6/6
Colour Vision – CP II

Selection and Recruitment Procedure

The selection process will consist of Verification of eligibility, Physical fitness test (PFT), Written test, Adaptability test-1, Adaptability test-2 and Medical examination. The PFT will consist of 1.6 Kms Run within 6.30 Minutes, 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats.

For selection, Provisional Select List (PSL) will be prepared and the inclusion of candidates in the PSL/ AISL will depend upon their performance in the recruitment rally. The Provisional Select List for Intake 02/2020 will be published at 15 Airmen Selection Centre, IInd Floor, Phase-II, Rajiv Gandhi Parisar, 35 Shyamla Hills, Bhopal (MP)-462002 on 30 April 2020.

The PSL will also be available at Central Airmen Selection Board website airmenselection.cdac.in.

Chhattisgarh IAF Selection Programme

Eligible and interested candidates from all the districts of Chhattisgarh State can participate in this Recruitment Rally with all the required documents and writing materials (see recruitment rally notification).

Candidates are required to report at Babu Pandhari Rao Kridutt Indoor Stadium, Amma Talab, Dhamtari (CG) between 06 AM – 10 AM on 13 October and 16 October 2019 as per the Selection Programme (rally schedule) below.

Districts – Balod, Bastar, Bijapur, Dantewada, Durg, Gariyaband, Kanker, Kondagaon, Mahasamund, Narayanpur, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon and Sukma districts

13 October 2019 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Written Test
14 October 2019 – Adaptability Test-1 and Adaptability Test-2
15 October 2019 – Reserve Day

Districts – Baloda Bazar, Balrampur, Bemetara, Bilaspur, Dhamtari, Janjgir Champa, Jashpur, Kawardha (Kabirdham), Korba, Koriya, Mungeli, Raipur, Sarguja and Surajpur districts

16 October 2019 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Written Test
17 October 2019 – Adaptability Test-1 and Adaptability Test-2
18 October 2019 – Reserve Day

Writing Materials and Documents Required:

1. HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.

2. Seven un-attested recent (taken not before September 2019) passport size colour photographs (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his Name and Date of Photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.

3. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of Matriculation Passing Certificate (required for Date of Birth verification).

4. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent Examination Passing Certificate and Marks Sheet.

5. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of Domicile Certificate.

6. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of NCC A, B or C Certificate (if applicable).
