SBI Clerk Bharti Junior Associate Exam (5583 Vacancies)

State Bank of India has released the clerical cadre recruitment notification for filling up the following 5583 Vacancies of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales). Eligible Indian citizens can apply online for SBI Clerk JA Bharti Exam through the website sbi.co.in up to 26th Aug 2025. SBI Clerk Recruitment Junior Associate Exam 2025-2026 like online application form, vacancy details, salary, eligibility, selection process, centre, admit card etc info is given below.

SBI Clerk Recruitment Junior Associate 2025-2026

Pay Scale – Rs 24050-1340/ 3-28070-1650/ 3-33020-2000/ 4-41020-2340/ 7-57400-4400/ 1-61800-2680/ 1-64480 with starting Basic Pay Rs 26730/- (Rs 24050/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).

Age Limit – 20 to 28 years as on 01st April 2025 i.e. candidates must have been born between 02 April 1997 and 01 April 2005 (both days inclusive). Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other categories is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. Candidates appearing in the Final Year/ Semester of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31 Dec 2025.

SBI Clerk JA Selection Process and Exam Pattern

SBI Junior Associate (Clerk) selection process consists of online test (Preliminary Exam in Phase-I and Main Exam in Phase-II) followed by test in the specified opted local language. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the both Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. The exam pattern is as follows:

Phase-I (Preliminary Examination):

SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam paper will be of maximum 100 Marks (100 objective type questions) of total 01 Hour duration consisting of three sections as follows:

  • English Language: 30 Questions of of 30 Marks (20 Minutes duration)
  • Numerical Ability: 35 Questions of 35 Marks (20 Minutes duration)
  • Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions of 35 Marks (20 Minutes duration)

Phase-II (Main Examination):

Candidates (10 times the number of vacancies) qualified and shortlisted in the preliminary exam will be called for the main examination. Junior Associates (Clerk) Main Exam paper will be of maximum 200 Marks (190 objective type questions) of total 02 Hours 40 Minutes duration consisting of four sections as follows:

  • General/Financial Awareness: 50 Questions of 50 Marks (35 minutes duration)
  • General English: 40 Questions of 40 Marks (35 minutes duration)
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions of 50 Marks (45 minutes duration)
  • Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude: 50 Questions of 60 Marks (45 minutes duration)

Test of Specified Opted Local Language – Candidates provisionally selected in the main examination will have to appear for the local language test.

Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the main examination subject to verification of eligibility and qualifying in test of specified opted local language. A waiting list of up to 50% of State and category wise vacancies will be maintained. Candidates will be released from this waitlist on quarterly basis against non-joining and resignation out of the current batch only.

Application Form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and desirous candidates are required to submit online application form for the SBI Clerk or Junior Associate Bank Vacancies through the website sbi.co.in from 06th Aug to 26th Aug 2025.

Before applying online, keep ready a scanned (digital) image of your photograph (200×230 pixels), signature (140×60 pixels), left hand thumb impression (240×240 pixels) and hand-written declaration (800×400 pixels) in JPG or JPEG format. You can apply for vacancies in one State only. Candidates must have a valid Email ID and Mobile number to get Call letter, advices etc by Email/ SMS.

After successful submission of online application, take a print out of system generated form for reference and future requirements. The printout of online application is not required to send to the SBI Bank. You are advised to follow the instructions and fill all the necessary details carefully while submitting online form.

GEN/ OBC/ EWS – Rs 750/- (application fee incl intimation charges).
