All eligible candidates may attend the interview for KV Uttarkashi Vacancies with their original documents. Kendriya Vidyalaya Uttarkashi Vacancies 2026-2027
1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Qualification: Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject OR Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subjects below. Candidate should have B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognized university and Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
PGT (English) – English
PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
PGT (Maths) – Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
PGT (Physics) – Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
PGT (Chemistry) – Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry.
PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Bio Technology/ Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
PGT (History) – History.
PGT (Geography) – Geography.
PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degrees of M.Com in Applied/ Business Economics shall not be eligible.
PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.

2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Qualification: Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Combination of subjects for TGTs are as follows:
TGT (Sanskrit) – Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
TGT (Hindi) – Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
TGT (English) – English as a subject in all the three years.
TGT (SST) – Any two of the subjects: History, Geography, Economics and Pol Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
TGT (Maths) – Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
TGT (Science) – Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
3. Primary Teacher (PRT)
Qualification: Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). The candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and should have the ability to teach in Hindi and English medium.
4. Computer Instructor
Qualification: B.Tech/ B.E (Computer Science/ IT)/ BCA/ MCA/ M.Sc (Computer Science)/ M.Sc IT/ B.Sc (Computer Science)/ B.Sc IT OR Bachelor degree in Science/ Maths subject with PGDCA OR Post Graduation in Math/ Science with O or A level DOEACC.
5. Nurse
Qualification: Regular Degree/ Diploma in Nursing from any recognized Institution/ University. Registration of Nursing (State/ Govt of India).
6. Yoga Teacher
Qualification: Graduate in Yogic Sciences (03 Years)/ PG in Yoga Sciences (02 Years)/ PG Diploma in Yoga Science (01 Year).
7. Counsellor
Qualification: Post Graduate in Psychology and Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. 02 years experience in guidance and counselling is desirable.
8. Special Educator
Qualification: XII passed and 02 year D.Ed (Special Education)/ 01 year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) OR Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR)/ PG Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR)/ Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special needs OR Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf OR Primary Level Teacher Training course in Visual Impairment OR Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCT.
9. Balvatika Teacher
Qualification: 12th Pass (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks and Diploma in Nursery Teacher education/ Pre School Education/ Early childhood education program (D.E.C.Ed.) of duration not less than 02 years or B.Ed (Nursery) from NCTE Recognized Institution.
10. Sports Coach
Qualification: Diploma in Coaching (09 Months/ 02 Years)/ Senior National (Official) Participation/ Junior National Position Holder in respective sports. Trained and experience (preferably with NIS or SAI background) will be preferred.
Age Limit (All Posts) – Max 65 years, as per KVS rules.
Remuneration – As per KVS rules.

Application Form, Interview Date and Notification
