Uttarakhand Special Education Teacher Recruitment
उत्तराखंड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग ने माध्यमिक शिक्षा विभाग, उत्तराखंड के अंतर्गत गढ़वाल मंडल एवं कुमाऊं मंडल में सहायक अध्यापक एलटी (विशेष शिक्षा शिक्षक) के कुल 128 रिक्त पदों पर सीधी भर्ती द्वारा चयन हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। योग्य एवं इच्छुक अभ्यर्थी आयोग की वेबसाइट पर 07 अक्टूबर 2025 तक ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
Post Name and Nature – सहायक अध्यापक एल.टी (विशेष शिक्षा शिक्षक), अराजपत्रित/ अस्थायी/ अंशदायी पेंशनयुक्त)।
Pay Scale – Rs 44900-142400 (Level-07).
Total Number of Vacancies – 128 Posts (Group C)
Garhwal Mandal – 74 Vacancies (UR-39, EWS-07, SC-15, ST-03, OBC-10).
Kumaon Mandal – 54 Vacancies (UR-28, EWS-05, SC-11, ST-02, OBC-08).

Age Limit – 21 to 42 years as on 01 Jul 2025. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC and other categories will be applicable as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification – The candidate must have BEd degree in Special Education from any University or Institute established by law in India and approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India with a valid RCI CRR number.
1. Six months Diploma/ Training in Cross Disability Area in Inclusive Education.
2. The training course must be recognized by National Council of Teacher Education/ Rehabilitation Council of India.
3. For appointment/ selection to the post of Special Education Teacher, it is mandatory for the candidate to pass UTET-2/ CTET-2 examination.
Preferential Qualification – Other things being equal, in case of direct recruitment, preference will be given to a candidate who has served for a minimum period of two years in the Territorial Army or who has obtained a ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps.
Eligibility – To be eligible to apply for these Samuh G Posts, the candidate should be registered in any Employment Exchange office in Uttarakhand by the last date of application; Or the candidate should be a domicile/ permanent residence certificate holder of Uttarakhand; Or the candidate should have passed High School and Intermediate or equivalent exam from recognized institutions located in Uttarakhand.

Special Education Teacher Selection Process
For selection to the posts, there will be a written examination of 02 hours duration carrying maximum 100 marks, which will contain objective type multiple choice questions related to the educational qualification of the post.
The exam will be held on 18th January 2026 (Tentative) and can be conducted either offline or online. The detailed syllabus provided by the commission is given below.
It is mandatory for the GEN/OBC candidates to secure 45% minimum marks and for the SC/ST candidates it is mandatory for them to secure 35% minimum marks, otherwise they will be disqualified in the written examination.
Four answer options will be given for each question. The candidate has to choose the best answer from the four answer options. For every wrong answer given by the candidate for each question, one fourth (¼) of the marks allotted to that question will be given as negative marking.
If the candidate gives more than one answer to any question, it will be treated as a wrong answer. Even if one of the given answers is correct, negative marking will be given for that question as above. If a question is not solved by the candidate, i.e. the answer is not given by the candidate, no negative marking will be given for that question.
For selection, category wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks, seniority will be determined on the basis of age (senior candidate in age will come first and junior candidate will come later).
If the age is also equal then the candidates will be given preference in the order of the English alphabet. The result or list of finally selected candidates will be published on the Commission’s website. The final selection will be subject to document verification.
Sports Quota Reservation:
In the process of direct recruitment to public services and posts, 04% horizontal reservation will be permissible in favor of medal winners/ participants of Uttarakhand at international and national level or medal winners in sports at state level, in the vacancies to be recruited, as follows:
1. Reservation for Medal Winners/ Participants in Olympic Games – In posts at Level 10 and below.
2. Reservation for Medal Winners/ Participants in World Cup/ World Championship/ Asian Games (Medal Winners/ Participants) – In posts at Level 8 and below.
3. Reservation for Medal Winners/ Participants in Commonwealth Games/ Asian Championship (Medal Winners/ Participants) – In posts at Level 7 and below.
4. Reservation for Medal Winners/ Participants in Commonwealth Championship/ International University Games (Medal Winners/ Participants) – In posts at Level 6 and below.
5. Reservation for Medal Winners in National Games/ National Championship organized by recognized National Sports Federations/ All India University Games/ Khelo India Youth Games (Medal Winners) – In posts at Level 5 and below.
6. Reservation for Medal Winners in State Games organized by Uttarakhand Olympic Association/ State Level Championship organized by State Sports Federations recognized by National Sports Federations/ State Level Sports Maha Kumbh organized by Youth Welfare Department/ State Level School Games organized by School Education Department/ State Level University Games organized by Higher Education Department (Medal Winners) – In posts at Level 5 and below.

भाग-A (शैक्षिक अभिवृत्ति, तर्कशक्ति परीक्षण एवं सामान्य ज्ञान)
अधिकतम अंक – 50
इकाई 1: शैक्षिक अभिरुचि और शिक्षक अभिवृति (अधिकतम अंक: 20)
शिक्षा और विशेष शिक्षा का इतिहास; शिक्षा एवं विशेष शिक्षा का दार्शनिक और समाजशास्त्रीय आधार; शिक्षा एवं विशेष शिक्षा का मनोवैज्ञानिक आधार; शिक्षा एवं विशेष शिक्षा से संबंधित शैक्षिक योजना और नीति दस्तावेज; विविध शिक्षण आवश्यकताओं हेतु आईसीटी और शैक्षिक तकनीकी; समावेशी शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने वाली उभरती डिजिटल तकनीकी; समावेशी शिक्षा में बाधाएँ: सामाजिक-आर्थिक रूप से वंचित समूहों (SEDGs) के प्रति संवेदनशीलता।

Application Form, Important Dates and Notification
Eligible and interested candidates have to apply online for Uttarakhand Special Education Teacher Recruitment through the Commission’s website sssc.uk.gov.in from 17 September to 07 October 2025. Make sure to follow the instructions below to apply online.
You have to use your mobile number and email ID for registration. One mobile number and one email ID can be used only once. After registration keep your email ID and password safe. You are advised to note down your Registration Number as it would be required for further selection process and future login.
Keep ready your scanned latest colour passport size photograph (150×200) and signature (150×100) in JPG/JPEG format for uploading online. Provide correct information, otherwise your candidature will be considered cancelled and you may be disqualified from future examinations conducted by UKSSSC.
Important steps to submit online application form:
- Step 1: Registration and Personal details.
- Step 2: Educational and other details.
- Step 3: Uploading of photo and signature.
- Step 4: Fee payment.
- Step 5: Application printout.
You are advised to read the recruitment notification carefully and follow all the instructions given to submit the online application form. There is no need to send the printout of the online application or any other document to the Commission.

Application form fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI only. Fee paid through any other mode will not be accepted. If you do not deposit the prescribed fee by the last date of fee submission or deposit less than the prescribed fee, your application form/ candidature will be automatically treated as cancelled.
