Uttarakhand Postal Circle, Dehradun invites Applications in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for filling up 50 vacancies of Postman and 26 vacancies of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) posts by direct recruitment in the Postal Divisions/Offices in the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- and Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800/- respectively.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (relaxation in age limit as per rules).
Educational Qualification: 10th pass or equivalent or ITI.
Selection/Recruitment Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written exam and for selection a merit list will be prepared in order of merit on concerned Postal Division level. Written exam will be of 90 minutes of 100 objective type multiple choice question paper based on 10th class standard including 25 questions from General Knowledge & Reasoning, 25 questions from Mathematics and 50 questions from Hindi & English to assess the language knowledge.
Examination Fee:
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/- as examination fee through UCR (ACG – 67) which can be deposited in any of the Post Offices. SC/ST, female and physically handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
How to apply:
Candidates may get the Application form by paying Rs. 100/- in the Post Offices as mentioned in the advertisement. Candidates are required to send their Applications by Registered/Speed Post complete in all respect along with two passport size photographs (duly attested by a Gazetted officer with seal) affixed, application fee, Self-addressed envelope etc to concerned Divisional Offices.
