UKSSSC invites applications for the following 221 Vacancies of Gram Vikas Adhikari (VDO) and Gram Panchayat Vikas Adhikari (VPDO) under Graduate Level Group C (Samuh G) recruitment. All eligible candidates can apply online for the Uttarakhand Gram Vikas Adhikari Bharti Vacancies through sssc.uk.gov.in from 15th April to 15th May 2025. UKSSSC VDO and VPDO Recruitment 2025

उत्तराखण्ड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग द्वारा समूह ‘ग’ के अन्तर्गत ग्राम्य विकास विभाग में ग्राम विकास अधिकारी (VDO) के 205 रिक्त पदों तथा पंचायतीराज विभाग में ग्राम पंचायत विकास अधिकारी (VPDO) के 16 रिक्त पदों पर सीधी भर्ती परीक्षा से चयन हेतु दिनांक 15 अप्रैल से 15 मई 2025 तक योग्य एवं इच्छुक अभ्यर्थियों से ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र आमन्त्रित किए गए हैं।

The Commission has issued notification by clubbing 416 posts of different departments having the same minimum educational qualification (Graduation), in which the posts of the same qualification can be filled through the same selection process. In this way the examinations will be completed on a time bound basis and will save the work and time of both the Commission and the candidate.

Pay Scale – Rs 25500-81100 (Level-04).

Age Limit (All Posts) – 21 to 42 Years as on 01st July 2025. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories is applicable as per Govt rules.

Gram Panchayat Vikas Adhikari (VPDO) Recruitment:

Number of Vacancies – 16 Posts
Post Name and Nature – ग्राम पंचायत विकास अधिकारी (अराजपत्रित/ स्थायी/ अंशदायी पेंशनयुक्त)।
Department – Panchayati Raj (District Panchayati Raj Officer Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Champawat).
Educational Qualification – Candidate must have Graduate Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university and also have a minimum CCC level certificate in computer operation.

District wise VPDO Vacancy Details:

• Uttarkashi: 09 Posts (SC-02, OBC-01, EWS-06)
• Chamoli: 05 Posts (SC-04, OBC-01)
• Champawat: 02 Posts (UR-02)

Preferential Qualification – Other things being equal in VDO/ VPDO Recruitment, preference will be given to a candidate who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years OR has obtained ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate of National Cadet Corps.

Gram Vikas Adhikari Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The recruitment process for the posts of VDO or Gram Vikas Adhikari and VPDO or Gram Panchayat Vikas Adhikari consists of an objective type written exam of maximum 100 Marks. The examination is tentatively scheduled to be conducted by the Commission in the month of July 2025 (See Exam Calendar). Admit Card can be downloaded online (will not be sent via post) around 01-02 weeks before the examination.

The exam paper will comprise of questions based on General Hindi, General Knowledge, General Studies, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge and Uttarakhand GK as per the exam pattern given below:

• सामान्य हिन्दी – 20 अंक।
• सामान्य ज्ञान व सामान्य अध्ययन (मानसिक योग्यता एवं तर्कशक्ति, इतिहास, भूगोल, राजनीतिक विज्ञान, अर्थशास्त्र, राज्य, राष्ट्रीय और अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय महत्व की समसामयिक घटनायें, कम्प्यूटर की मूलभत जानकारी) – 40 अंक।
• उत्तराखण्ड से सम्बन्धित विविध जानकारियाॅं – 40 अंक।

The latest Uttarakhand VDO/ VPDO Exam Syllabus 2025 is given below.

The question paper will be of 02 Hours duration and will comprise of total 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions (01 mark each). Negative marking of ¼ marks will be applicable for every wrong answer marked by candidates. The VDO/VPDO Answer Key will be published on the official website after completion of the exam. Minimum 45 marks for GEN/ OBC candidates and minimum 35 marks for SC/ ST candidates are required to qualify in the written exam.

For selection, post and category wise merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the written examination subject to documents verification. In the case of obtaining similar marks by two or more candidates, the merit will be determined on the basis of higher age.

Application form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates can submit online application form for the UKSSSC VDO and VPDO Uttarakhand Recruitment through sssc.uk.gov.in from 15th April to 15th May 2025. Before applying online, keep ready your mobile number, email id, educational details and scanned images of recent passport size photograph and signature to upload online.

The application portal has been separately changed to the new format. Therefore, you have to fill your details carefully before submitting application form for the recruitment. Upload your recent photograph, so that there is no difficulty in matching the candidate and photo at the exam center. Due to faulty application, your candidature can be canceled at the time of document verification.

SC/ ST/ PH/ EWS Candidates – Rs 150/-
Orphan candidates – Nil
