UKMSSB (Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board) has invited applications for the following 180 Vacancies of Health Worker (ANM) in the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare. UKMSSB ANM (Health Worker) Recruitment 2025-2026
Candidates having domicile certificate of Uttarakhand or candidates who have passed their High School (10th) and Intermediate (12th) or equivalent level of education from recognized institutions located in the state of Uttarakhand, are eligible to apply for the direct recruitment posts of Health Worker (ANM) under Group C (Samuh G).
Post Name and Nature – Health Worker (स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ता), अराजपत्रित/ अंशदायी पेंशनयुक्त (Group C).
Pay Scale – Rs 21700-69100, Pay Level-3.

Eligibility Criteria (Age and Qualification)
Age Limit – 18 to 42 Years as on 01.07.2025. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC and other categories will be applicable as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification – For direct recruitment to the post of Health Worker (Female), the candidate must have the following qualifications:
1. The candidate must have successfully completed the Basic Health Worker (Women) Training Course (which includes 06 months of childbirth training) as per the educational qualification prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi from time to time.
2. Candidate should be duly registered with Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council.
It is mandatory for the candidate to have a permanent/ renewed registration certificate in the Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council, Dehradun by the last date of applying online. Certificates issued after the last date of online application will not be valid.
Preferential qualification – Other things being equal in the case of direct recruitment, preference will be given to those candidates who have served in the Territorial Army for minimum 02 years OR who have obtained B Certificate of National Cadet Corps (NCC).

ANM Health Worker Selection Procedure
The Board will prepare district wise candidates list in the order of merit as per the marks obtained by them in the Basic Health Worker (Women) Training Course, year-wise passing the Training Course. If two or more candidates obtain equal marks, the name of the candidate senior in age will be placed higher in the merit list.
Candidates will be required to submit all the supporting certificates as and when required by the office to confirm the claims made in the online application, otherwise the candidature will be cancelled. Claim and approval of reservation will be given only on the basis of all the govt orders and reservation related formats issued by the Uttarakhand Government.
The selection list (result) for the concerned posts will be prepared only under the provisions prescribed in the relevant service rules. The selection recommendation will be sent to the employing officer only after verification by matching the original educational and other records to confirm the claims made in the online application of the selected candidates.
Document verification will be conducted in the coming months. Information regarding the document verification programme, date, time, center and roll number will be provided through Admit Card to be made available on the official website of the board.

Eligible and interested female candidates are required to register and submit online application form for the Uttarakhand ANM Health Worker Recruitment through the Board’s website ukmssb.org or ukmssb.in from 20th November to 10th December 2025.

- Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) all year mark sheet.
- ANM Passing certificate.
- Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwifery Council registration certificate.
- Category certificate SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS (as applicable).
- Sub Category Certificates: Dependent of Freedom Fighter (DFF)/ Ex-Army/ Orphan Children of Uttarakhand State (if applicable).
- Domicile certificate of Uttarakhand/ Non Transferable job certificate (if any).
- NCC/ Territorial Army certificate (if held).
उपरोक्त के आधार पर Combined PDF File में क्रम संख्या 1, 2, 3, 4 एवं 5 संलग्न किया जाना अनिवार्य है, तथा श्रेणी/ उपश्रेणी आरक्षण सम्बन्धी लाभ का दावा करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों हेतु क्रम संख्या 6, 7, 8 एवं 9 (जिसका दावा अभ्यर्थी करते हो) Combined PDF File के साथ संलग्न करना अनिवार्य होगा।
After submitting the online application form, take a printout of the system generated application form for reference/ record. The printout (hard copy) of online application or any other documents are not required to be sent by Post to the Board.

Document Verification and Required Documents
As per the data provided by candidates in application form, the list of candidates including to the extent of 25% of the number of category wise vacancies will be issued for Document Verification (DV). The documentation will be conducted at the office of Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board. The schedule of document verification for ANM (Health Worker) will be updated soon.
Candidates invited for document verification can download the Admit Card from the official website by entering their Registration number and Password. 13. Candidate or candidate’s parents/ husband/ wife in Army/ Paramilitary/ Centre or State Govt Department, whose services cannot be transferred from the state of Uttarakhand, are working, certificate (if applicable).
14. SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS Certificate (as applicable), valid till the last date of advertisement.
15. Certificate of Dependents of freedom fighters/ Ex-servicemen/ Divyangjan/ Orphan children of Uttarakhand state (if applicable).
