SSC Delhi Police Constable Bharti 7565 Vacancies 2025-2026

Staff Selection Commission has invited applications for filling up the following 7565 Vacancies of Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police. All eligible male and female Indian citizens can apply online for the Delhi Police Constable Vacancies through ssc.gov.in till 21 October 2025. SSC Delhi Police Constable Executive 2025-2026 as salary, vacancy details, eligibility, online form, selection process, CBE syllabus, physical test (PE & MT), admit card etc info is given below.

Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Recruitment

Pay Scale – Rs 21700-69100 Pay Level-3 (Old scale Rs 5200-20200 Pay Band-1 with GP Rs 2000).

Total Number of Vacancies – 7565 Posts (Group C)

Post wise Vacancy Details:

Constable Executive (Male) – 4408 Vacancies (UR-1914, EWS-456, OBC-967, SC-729, ST-342)
Constable Executive Male Ex-Servicemen (Others) – 285 Vacancies (UR-107, EWS-26, OBC-54, SC-62, ST-36)
Constable Executive Male Ex-Servicemen (Commando) – 376 Vacancies (UR-106, EWS-25, OBC-56, SC-138, ST-51)


Constable Executive (Female) – 2496 Vacancies (UR-1047, EWS-249, OBC-531, SC-457, ST-212)

Age Limit – 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2025 i.e. candidates should be born between 02.07.2000 and 01.07.2007. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, Sportsperson, Departmental candidate of Delhi Police, Ex-Servicemen and other categories will be applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – 12th Pass or 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board. Male candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motor Cycle or Car) as on the date of PE&MT. Learner License is not acceptable.

Selection Process, CBE Pattern and Physical Test

Delhi Police Constable selection process consists of Computer Based Exam, Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE & MT), Document Verification and Medical Examination. The Computer Based Exam will be conducted by SSC at the centers of concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office during December 2025/ January 2026.

Thereafter PE&MT of CBE qualified candidates will be conducted by the Delhi Police in Delhi. PE&MT will be qualifying in nature. Final selection will be based on the aggregate marks scored by the candidates in Computer Based Examination subject to qualifying the PE&MT and other conditions.

Computer Based Examination (CBE)

The computer based exam will consist of one objective type multiple choice question paper of 90 Minutes duration containing 100 Questions carrying 100 Marks. The exam will be of Matriculation level and will be conducted in English and Hindi only. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer given by candidates. The question paper will comprise of four parts as per the pattern below:

  • General Knowledge/ Current Affairs: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
  • Reasoning: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
  • Numerical Ability: 15 Questions (15 Marks)
  • Computer Fundamentals, MS Excel, MS Word, Communication, Internet, WWW and Web Browsers etc.: 10 Questions (10 Marks)

The detailed SSC Delhi Police Constable Syllabus is given below.

Cut-off marks for qualifying in Computer Based Examination:
Unreserved – 35 Marks
SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS – 30 Marks
Ex-serviceman (ESM) – 25 Marks

Bonus marks for NCC Certificate Holders:
NCC C Certificate – 5% of the maximum marks of the exam
NCC B Certificate – 3% of the maximum marks of the exam
NCC A Certificate – 2% of the maximum marks of the exam

Physical Endurance Test (PE)

Male Candidates:

Race – 1600 Meters within 6 Minutes for candidates up to 30 years, within 7 Minutes for candidates above 30 to 40 years and within 8 Minutes for candidates above 40 years.

Long Jump – 14 Feet for candidates up to 30 years, 13 Feet for candidates above 30 to 40 years and 12 Feet for candidates above 40 years.

High Jump – 3’9” for candidates up to 30 years, 3’6” for candidates above 30 to 40 years and 3’3” for candidates above 40 years.

Female Candidates:

Race – 1600 Meters within 8 Minutes for candidates up to 30 years, within 9 Minutes for candidates above 30 to 40 years and within 10 Minutes for candidates above 40 years.

Long Jump – 10 Feet for candidates up to 30 years, 9 Feet for candidates above 30 to 40 years and 8 Feet for candidates above 40 years.

High Jump – 3′ for candidates up to 30 years, 2’9” for candidates above 30 to 40 years and 2’6” for candidates above 40 years.

Physical Measurement Test (MT)

Height:

GEN/ OBC Candidates – Male: 170 Cms and Female: 157 Cms.
SC Candidates – Male: 170 Cms and Female: 155 Cms.
ST Candidates – Male: 165 Cms and Female: 155 Cms.
Hill Area Candidates (Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh) – Male: 165 Cms and Female: 155 Cms.

Chest (Only for male candidates):
GEN/ SC/ OBC – 81-85 Cms.
ST and Hill Area Candidates – 76-80 Cms.

Document Verification (DV)

All the candidates selected on the basis of their performance in the Computer Based Examination and qualified in all the events of PE/MT are required to appear for Document Verification to be conducted by Delhi Police.

Candidates have to bring two passport-sized recent colour photographs and one original valid Photo ID Proof while appearing for the Document Verification (DV).

Candidates must bring the photocopies and originals of the following documents:

1. Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate.
2. Essential Educational Qualification Certificate.
3. Driving License (Motorcycle or Car) for male candidates only.
4. Caste/ Category Certificate, if it belongs to the reserved category.
5. Hill Area Certificate, if applicable.
6. Serving Defence Personnel Certificate/ NOC, Undertaking and Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen (ESM).
7. Relevant Certificate if seeking any age relaxation.
8. Wards Certificate issued to wards of Delhi Police personnel/ MultiTasking Staff of Delhi Police, if applicable.
9. Sports Certificate, if applicable.
10. Certificate of Departmental candidates of Delhi Police, if applicable.
11. No Objection Certificate, in case already employed in Govt/ Govt undertakings.
12. NCC Certificate- A, B or C, if applicable.
13. RRU Certificate, if applicable.
14. Any other document specified in the Admission Certificate for the PE&MT/ DV.

SSC Delhi Police Constable Syllabus 2025-2026

The syllabus for the Computer Based Examination will be as follows:

General Knowledge/ Current Affairs – Questions in this part will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person.

The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Indian Economy, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Reasoning – Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type.

This part may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observations, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasons and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding etc.

Numerical Ability – This part will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work etc.

Computer Fundamentals, MS Excel, MS Word, Communication, Internet, WWW and Web Browsers etc – Elements of Word Processing (Word Processing Basics, Opening and closing Documents, Text Creation, Formatting the Text and its presentation features).

MS Excel (Elements of Spread Sheet, Editing of Cells, Function and Formulas), Communication (Basics of E-mail, Sending/ receiving of Emails and its related functions), Internet, WWW and Web Browsers (Internet, Services on Internet, URL, HTTP, FTP, Web sites, Blogs, Web Browsing Software, Search Engines, Chat, Video conferencing, e-Banking).

Online form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates will have to apply online for the Delhi Police Constable Vacancies through the website ssc.gov.in from 22 September to 21 October 2025.

Before applying online, candidates will have to go through One-Time Registration process to apply for any exam conducted by the Commission. Thereafter you can apply for Delhi Police Constable Executive Male/Female Examination using Registration Number and password provided by the system at the time of One-time registration.

You are advised to read the instructions carefully and fill all the required details while filling up the one-time registration form and the application form.

Application fee: Rs 100/-.
The fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards. SC, ST, Women and Ex-serviceman candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Important Dates:
Last date for submission of online application – 21 Oct 2025 (11 PM)
Last date for online fee payment – 22 Oct 2025 (11 PM)
Correction in online application – 29 to 31 Oct 2025 (11 PM)
Computer Based Exam date – Dec 2025/ Jan 2026

Admit Card – Admission Certificate (Admit Card) for CBE will be uploaded on the Commission’s website (will not be issued by Post for any stage of examination). The exam schedule and city/ centre etc info will be available about 02 weeks before the exam date. Admit Card for the PE&MT/ DV will be issued by Delhi Police through delhipolice.gov.in. PE&MT will be conducted in Delhi only.
