ECHS Polyclinic Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand) has invited applications for filling up the following Medical, Para Medical and Non Medical Staff Vacancies. The contractual appointments will be for a period of one year renewable for additional period of one year/ till attaining the maximum subject to performance of candidates/ other conditions. The post wise number of vacancies, minimum qualification/ work experience and salary are as follows:
1. Medical Officer
No of Vacancies – 04
Qualification – MBBS, Minimum 03 years work experience
Remuneration – 95,000/-
2. Medical Specialist
No of Vacancies – 01
Qualification – MD/MS in specialty concerned/DNB, Minimum 03 years work experience in the specialty after Post Graduation.
Remuneration – 1,30,000/-
3. Dental Officer
No of Vacancies – 02
Qualification – BDS, Minimum 03 years work experience.
Remuneration – 95,000/-
4. Gynaecologist
No of Vacancies – 01
Qualification – MD/MS in specialty concerned/DNB, Minimum 03 years work experience in the specialty after Post Graduation

5. Radiographer
No of Vacancies – 01
Qualification – Diploma/ Class 1 Radiographer Course (Armed Forces), Minimum 05 years work experience.

6. Laboratory Technician

Qualification – B.Sc (Medical Lab Tech) OR Matriculation/ Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (10+2) with science from recognized board/ Institution. Diploma in Medical Lab Tech from a recognized institute, Minimum 03 years work experience as a Lab Assistant in Medical Lab.

7. Physiotherapist

Qualification – Diploma/ Class 1 Physiotherapy Course (Armed Forces), Minimum 5 years work experience.

8. Pharmacist

Qualification – B.Pharma from a recognized institute. OR 10+2 with Science stream from a recognized board. Approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948. Minimum 03 year work experience.

9. Nursing Assistant

Qualification – GNM Diploma/Class 1 Course (Armed Forces), Minimum 05 years work experience.

10. Dental Hygienist/ Assistant/ Technician
No of Vacancies – 02
Qualification – Diploma Holder in Dental Hyg/Class 1 DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces) for Dental Hyg//Asst and 5 yrs work experience in Dental Laboratory. Dental Technician Should have passed 10+2 with Science or equivalent from recognized board or institution. Should have two years diploma in Dental Hygienist/Dental Mechanic Course and Registered with Central/ State Govt. or Dental Council of India. Minimum 03 years work experience in Dental Laboratory.

11. Driver

Qualification – 8th Class pass, Class 1 MT Driver (Armed Forces) Posses a civil driving license, Minimum 5 years experience as Driver.

Application Form, Required Documents and Notification
Application as per requisite format along with self attested photocopies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualifications, Work Experiences and Medical Fitness certificate countersigned by SEMO/CMO will be submitted to OIC Stn HQ, ECHS Cell, Pithoragarh by 16th Feb 2026 in duplicate. Any application received after 16th Feb 2026 will not be accepted. Preference will be given to the Ex-Servicemen.
The date/ time of interview will be informed to the candidates through telephone/ email. Candidates must bring all the original certificates/ marksheets/ degree of 10th/Matric, 10+2 & Graduation/ Post Graduation/ Diploma/ Course, Work Experience and discharge book, PPO, Service records and 2 PP size colour photographs at the time of interview. No TA/DA is admissible. Only candidates meeting the Qualitative Requirements may apply for ECHS Pithoragarh Vacancy.
OIC Polyclinic, Medical Specialist, Gynaecologist, Radiologist, Medical Officers and Dental Officers will carry out 10 days On the Job Training (OJT) and obtain a certificate from Officer-in-Charge Polyclinic before signing the contract. This duration of On the Job Training (OJT) will remain unpaid and as a mandatory requirement before assuming charge as a contractual employee.

10. PPO, Discharge Book, ESM I/Card (For ESM only).
11. Medical Fitness Certificate.
12. Experience Certificate (as applicable).
13. No Objection Certificate from current employer (if applicable).
